There's something I've been wondering for a long time about my fave episode, "Save the tiger".

When Kit & Rebecca try to gather money for getting back Baloo, they realize they will never get enough. So Becky says "There's only one thing that's left to sell" and Kit immediately replies "But I'm only a kid!"
Does this really mean that Kit thought Becky would actually SELL Kit for money?? Or is there something I didn't get?

I read a comment on the STT vid on youtube, on Kit's comment; it had to do with Child labor slaves? It's under Talespin 130, Save the Tiger.

So I was right then? Anyone thinks the same?

Yeah, Kit was thinking of being sold into slavery as you can see from the panic on his face.

Personally, I don't think Kit being sold into child slavery was the sole purpose of that line. That line was for laughs, it allowed for a rare tender moment between Becky and Kit, and it was a good lead-in for selling Higher for Hire. Not bad for only 5 words.

I think it's for fun too.
But if to fantasize, maybe Kit was already sold one time? For TS universe child-selling looks cruel.

I don't think Disney would have allowed such a thing, but maybe that's what the original authors implied...I mean, it would fit Kit's story as an orphan. Anything's possible.
