Plot
Welcome to the boon docks of Ohio, where the phone reception is two bars or less and every computer runs at dial-up speed. On Rivercreek Drive, every house is settled into the forest with driveways made of dirt. And every house is about a mile away of the others. Who would want to live in this desolate area? Perhaps those that don't want to face society or just don't want to be found.
The last house on the street, the newest one that was just built a few months ago, has finally been moved into by the owners. The large white mansion sticks out like a sore thumb among the trees, but the family that just moved in there sticks out more among the normal society. The elegant and mysterious and sometimes frightening Chlosky family never seems to venture far from thier property. Perhaps the sun is keeping them inside?
The oldest house on the street belongs to the Tucker family. They live for the forest and nature. They are rugged and known all over the small town for their simple country hearts. The large house used to be envied, but the wood of it is finally starting to fall apart. Still, the family seems reluctant to leave. They have made a home in the old town house and won't live any where else even if they have to sleep on the floor. Although, they may spend every night outside...
The first house on Rivercreek is the small white farmhouse of the Griffins. This perfectly normal and human family owns the largest estate on the street. Not only do they own a relatively large ranch, but have so many pets that most people say that the family has lost count of how many. But the Griffins live for their for legged members of the family. But when your the only humans on the street, you can kiss your normal life good-bye.

I'm just going to re-use my old characters. I'll add one or two more after you post your characters. Full Name: Melody Chlosky Name: Melody, Mel Age: 128, but looks and acts about 15 Gender: female Species: vampire Role In Family: daughter Personality: Mel is very quiet and unusually sweet for her kind. She would never intentionally hurt anyone or anything. Except when she thirsty, of course. Also, Mel loves to sing and is quite good at it. She is also very shy and usually always has a half smile/half frown on her face. History: Mel was on her way to becoming part of the court of Queen Elizabeth when she was human. She got caught up in some dark stuff that her brother was involved in. He persuaded her to come with her own night and she was given as a sacrifice to their leader, the vampire. Luckily, this vampire wasn’t totally evil and took pity on the small child. He changed her and offered her a life with him, which she gladly took. A hundred years later, it became harder and harder for the couple to hide and other vampire coven were being forced together. Mel was forced to watch her beloved be killed by other vampires. Distraught, she took the next boat to America. She soon joined the Chlosky coven that posed as a regular human family. Appearence: http://xkimjoanne.deviantart.com/art/My-Life-Is-Black-And-White-143658310Full Name: Rose Mary Tucker Name: Rose, hates the nickname Rosie, has earned the nick name Rose With Thorns or Lethal Rose (or just Lethal or Poison) Age: 18 Gender: female Species: werewolf Role In Family: daughter Personality: Rose is strong and independent . She has quite the back-talking mouth on her and really doesn’t know what to just shut up and let it. She seems very hateful and always scowling, eventually somebody has to make her laugh, right? She is also reckless and acts rashly. She doesn’t really think things through before doing something. History: Rose never really got along with anybody her whole life. She only truly like to hang out with one person, her brother – will add which one when I get more people in her family-. Other than that, there really isn’t anything important. Well, there is the ex-boyfriend who is the reason she hates the world now. He basically used her to get this other girl jealous, but Rose really, really started to like him. But all good things come to a sad, broken end. Appearence: http://ymefreak.deviantart.com/art/Poison-Red-II-120958929 and http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs20/f/2007/291/2/f/Red_Wolf_by_dolphy.jpgFull Name: Travis Griffin Name: Travis Age: 19 Gender: male Species: human Role In Family: son Personality: Travis loves to photograph things. History: Travis has lived a good and normal life so far. He was supposed to go to college but only applied to one and was put on the waiting list. He might go in January, but only if someone else leaves. He applied to another college and was accepted there, so he will probably go there the next year. Appearence: http://choke-cherry.deviantart.com/art/I-Measured-My-Life-98079802Full Name: Justin Tucker Name: Justin, JT Age: 19, almost twenty Gender: male Species: Werewolf Role In Family: son Personality: Justin often is the over-protective brother who doesn't really trust anyone except his family. Awesome. I think I am going to add another werewolf and another human if you want to create another character or two. And don't worry about histories. They aren't really that necassary.

Ooc:// Excuse the double post, but we are staring this thing! Bic:// Melody sat on her queen-sized bed, her legs pulled up to her chest and the soft white sheets made neatly underneath her. One of her many window were open, and a small breeze flowed throughout the room. Her wide brown eyes gazed at the nearly empty room with her dresser still in peices in a box and all her belongings still packed away. The wind fluttered her white hair, encouraging her to begin making this new house her home. Melody always hated the moving process and still felt attached to their last home which was very similar to this new house. Still, Mel had it in her mind that this new place could never be as good as their old home.Rose tore the peice of paper in half again, creating pieces that were only about two inches long. This still wasn't good enough for Rose because she ripped them all again, some fluttering out of her hand and flying in the wind. Eventaully, she let them all go, and each little peice soared in the direction of the forest, scattering among the trees. In her hand still lay the peice that read Love, Troy. Rose hated to think about her ex-boyfriend and what he had done to her. She should not be sitting on top of the roof depressed over some human boy. But she had really started to develop feelings for him. So she folded the torn paper and slid it into pocket. Maybe she wasn't quite ready to let all of him go.JT wondered out the back door, glancing around for the red hair of his youngest sister. She hadn't been around the rest of the family much lately, and JT had finally heard rumors of why that may be. After resisting the urge to kill the little human that thought he could mess around with his sister's heart, he decided he should at least find Rose and talk to her first before doing anything too rash. After not catching her scent after taking two or three steps into the woods, JT turned around to go back into the house. He saw the familiar red hair a top the roof, and JT shook his head at his sister. Why would she ever think hiding on the rood was a good idea? Did she honestly think no one would find her there? Still, JT came back into the old house, planning to find the exact window she climbed out of.Travis snapped a quick photo of a bright red cardinal a second before it flew off deeper into the woods. He had never been this far into the forest before, and he was glad to have his horse Duke with him. Travis stood up from his crouched position and retraced his steps to where the stallion was tied up to a tree. Travis patted his rich dark brown fur before mounting the horse again. From the new height, Travis could see farther into the trees and only allowed Duke to take a few steps before stopping him again. Travis stared deep into the woods, thinking he saw something there. After a while, he finally made out the form of a house. An old wooden house that kind of looked similiar to a cabin, but a house nonetheless. Travis glanced around him, searching for anyone who might be nearby and who might live in that strange house.Jess finished off the rough out-line of one of the mares and her new colt. The charcoal lines on her parchment could hardly pass for horses, but Jessica began to detail the out-line, starting with the mare's mane as it ruffled ever so slightly in the wind. Jess was perfectly comfortable sitting in the pasture, only a few feet from the horses. Her shoes had been discarded outside the fence, and she curled her toes in the soft grass and dirt. A streak of charcoal already lined her check from Jess tucking a stray hair behind her ear. Still, in her stained jeans and worn out T-shirt and overall dirty state, Jess was completely at home out here.

Bellatrix heard the back door open and close, the screeching metal echoing throughout the house. She stood up and peered over the banister to see who had gone outside. She waited for a moment and watched as JT walked back into the house and began looking for the open window Rose had climbed out of. "Over here, JT" Tricks called to her brother, pointing into the Guest Room, where the window was wide open. The old, white curtains blew to the side as a gust of wind burst through the window, hitting Tricks and making her brunette hair fly with it. Some thought her hair was brunette, some red, and some even called it the color of violet. Tricks smiled and sat down in the small rocking chair at the top of the stairs. She loved that chair, it was like the door to her own little world.
Taylor lay on his back at the foot of his twin sized bed. His eyes were closed and he was listening to the sound of the forest close to the old house. A flock of birds had stopped for a rest on their flight overhead and were now chatting and singing in the trees. Two deer stopped by a creek and were grunting at each other, both tilting their antlers towards the other. Taylor sat up straight and turned to look out his window. He could hear the sound of a human in the forest. He didn't know why this bothered him, but the fact that a human was so close to their house seemed... unintentional. Taylor stood up and opened his bedroom door and walked down the hallway. He passed by Tricks and patted her on the head before continuing on to the grand piano that stood, alone int he corner. "I need to learn how to play one day." He mumbled.
Demitri walked down the much to narrow hallway towards her sister's room. She swatted at a wasp that had followed her all this way and made sure it was good and dead before continuing on. She stopped at the doorway of Melody's room and cleared her throat. Demitri wasn't the best in the world at comforting her, but she felt as though her sister needed comforting. Although Mel was much older than Demitri, she still liked to treat her as a younger sister. "Hey Mel, how is the unpacking going? Hope it's not too depressing." Demitri sighed and picked up a fallen box that had spilled several clothes onto the floor. She stuffed the clothes back into the box and set it on top of the others.
Adrian looked up as he heard a thump on the wall and Demitri walk past. He shrugged and resumed digging through a box he labeled "Photos". Finally, he pulled out three pictures. Two of which were aged and yellow on the back, but the other looked as though it had recently been shot. On the first one, it was a picture of him when he was ten years old, hugging his older sister, Alice, around the waist. This was in 1913, before he had been changed and when his sister was still alive. She had died from influenza when Adrian was fifteen years old. The other picture was of his real parents, Alice and Adrian when he was a baby. They all looked happy in that picture, and Adrian wished he could remember it. The last picture was of him and Demitri, sitting in front of a waterfall where they used to live. He pinned them all to his wall above his bed and nodded approvingly.
Annabelle walked up behind Jess and observed her charcoal drawing. She looked up at mare and the colt then down at the drawing and tilted her head to the side, trying to see it. Giving up, Annabelle turned around and walked out of the pasture. The smells of the horses made her nose itch and she sat down, leaning on the wooden wall. She looked up at the clear blue sky and heard the distance nickering of Travis's horse. She giggled and yawned before laying down and closing her eyes.

JT looked at the window that his sister pointed to. "Thanks, Tricks," he said to her as he walked passed her and into the guest room. Sure enough, the windoe was wide open. Sticking his head outside of it, JT saw the window ledge made the perfect step to climb on top of the roof. He glanced back over his shoulder just as Taylor walked by. "So which of us do you think should go talk to her?" he asked his sister, not sure if Rose would take better to girl time or a brotherly talk.
Rose stared off into the distance, not paying attention to the noise around her until she heard a strange animal sound coming from the woods. The noise kind of sounded like a horse, which perplexed Rose. She searched around her and finally spotted the large brown animal. And the boy riding the creature. In a sudden fear of being spotted, Rose quickly crawled across the roof and shimmied down into the windoe again. When she jumped back onto the guest room, she landed at her brother's feet and caught the very end of the conversation he was having with Bellatrix. "Sorry," she muttered as she straightened herself up. "Am I interrupting your intervention?"
Melody glanced up as Demitri walked in, but she didn't move from her position on her bed. She kept her eyes on her friend and pratically sister as she cleaned up the scattered clothes that Mel was willing to let sit for the next hundred years or so. Finally, Mel said in a quiet voice, "I'm not really in the mood for unpacking at the moment." She turned her head to resume her staring ou the window.
Travis paused only a few feet from the house, debateing turning around or daring a few steps closer. His family had lived on this street for generations, and no one had ever told him that they had nieghbors not so far away. Travis then made the decision to be somewhat neighborly and try to meet these people. Travis dismounted Duke and tied the horse up to a nearby tree. He tried to straighten out his rumbled gray t-shirt, but he only managed to smear a small speck of mud half way across his stomach. With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, Travis walked into what looked like the backyard of the house.
Jess turned her head as she heard footsteps walking away, and saw Annabelle making her way out of the pasture. She turned back to her sketch and after a few precise lines, the mare and her colt could soon be clearly seen. By that time, the colt had run off with several other foals, and the mare had been drawn to a patch of grass just behind Jess. She shook her had at the uncooperation of the two before gathering her things and exiting the pasture. She would have to finish the sketch at a later time.

Bellatrix shook her head, "I tried earlier but it wasn't any use." She tilted her head to one side as Rose climbed back in through the window. Tricks pushed herself out of the chair, gave it a longing look, and shook her head at Rose, "Not interrupting a thing." She smiled and walked over to Taylor, giving him a hug around the waist and reaching around him to hit a few keys on the piano. The lack of rhythm made her cringe and she pulled back her hand, frowning at the old piano. "Does any of us actually know how to play this thing besides mom?" She asked.
Taylor rolled his eyes playfully and sat down on the piano bench. He looked over at Rose, sympathy clouding his gaze. He never had been particularly close to Rose, but he still cared about her. Like a sister at least. He yawned and stood up, making his way over to the staircase. "I'm going to head out, if you don't mind. I need to pick up some things from the grocers." He nodded at Tricks and she waved at him before turning back to the piano.
Demitri shook her head. She had already unpacked half of her things, and already had her closet full. "Maybe you need something to put you in the mood" Demitri grinned and picked up a box that sat just at her feet. She picked it up and pulled the tape off. Inside were several more clothes and other items. She pulled some of them out and held up a white sweater. "Since when did you have this?" She asked.
Adrian stepped out of his room and saw Demitri step inside Melody's room, asking her about unpacking. He took a step towards them and decided against it, turning around and heading to the kitchen. He grabbed the a coffee mug and filled it with coffee. Although he really didn't need it, he liked the taste and sipped it slowly, sitting down at the table and looking out the window. The curtains were pulled shut but he could see through them, due to the transparency. He could make out a house through the trees but he couldn't tell much about it. "So we've got neighbors, hm." He mumbled and gazed at the house some more.
Annabelle opened her eyes and pulled herself up. She suddenly had a feeling of adventurousness and broke into a run towards the forest. She saw the familiar hoof-prints of Duke's and followed then, wondering where Travis had gone. She followed it for some time until she came to a stop. An old, cabin like house loomed over head and she saw Duke tied to a tree not far away. She walked up to him and patted his snout, "Where did Travis go, buddy?" Annabelle asked and turned to where Duke was staring. She saw Travis walking into what seemed like the backyard of the house and ran towards him. "Travis! Hey!" She called.

Rose sighed and rolled her eyes at the happy family routine. "I thought the whole point of the piano was decoration," she said in a lazy, uncaring voice. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to go back to my room." She shoved passed her brother and hurried into the last door in the second floor hallway. The door nearly slammed behind her as she roughly shoved it closed with her hand. She leaped onto her bed and sat cross-legged on the sheets, her mind returning to a time when she wasn't so anti-social with her family.
JT stared after Rose as she brushed by him and once again locked herself in her room. He shook his head at her stubborness before going to Bellatrix and taking a seat beside her on the piano bench. "Mom used to try and teach me when I was little. You were probably too young to remember. I might remember a thing or two," he said as he placed hi fingers above the white keys. He began to play a simple tune that resembled "Mary Had A Little Lamb" but only filled with wrong notes. JT chuckled at himself and the horrid music that he was making.
Melody glanced at the white fabric Demitri was holding up, and couldn't help but smile at the sweater. "That old thing is from the eighties," she said as she finally removed herself from the bed and returned to the boxes. "Back when buying clothes that were twice your size was considered fashionable." Her smiled widened at the thirty year old memories. "I must find a picture from there to show you. I sweat, my hair was bigger than my head and this horried dark brown that is the reason I've been blond or lighter ever since." Melody's coven new by now that she had a habit of dying her hair at least once every decade in order to better organize her memory. She rummaged through the boxes in search of the promised picture.
Travis turned around at the sound of his sister's voice. "Hey, Anna!" he greeted with a wave of his hand. "I never knew we had neighbors out here, did you?" he asked her as he turned back around to stare at the old wooden dwelling. He heard someone coming out the front door and he looked at his sister. "You think we should go pay this neighbors a visit?"
Jessica set her things in the barn and glanced around for the sight of her sister. She finally saw her brunette hair flying behind Annabelle as she disappeared into the woods. Jess was about to follow her when she realized she had left her shoes at the fence. Not wanting to go back to fetch her shoes, she found her much boots just outside the barn and slipped them on before running after her sister. When she was inside the trees, Jessice glanced around herself for some sign of the direction Annabelle had gone. She unknowing headed in the complete opposite direction and ended up coming out into the clean cut front yard of a large white mansion.

Bellatrix glanced over her shoulder just as Rose disappeared into her room and almost slammed the door behind her. She tilted her head to the side with a creepy grin on her face before busting into laughter at the sound of JT banging away at the keys. She whipped around, her wild hair almost slapping him across the face, and pushed his hand away. "Beat this." She said in a playful tone. Stretching her hands over the keys, she attempted Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star but failed completely. As her thumb hit the last key, the wrong one of course, she turned to JT and grinned - showing all her teeth.
Taylor jumped the last three stairs of the staircase and cringed at the sound of the two playing the piano upstairs. He grabbed his keys and stepped pulled open the front door. He froze abruptly and whipped around. He could smell a nearby scent of humans. The scent was way too close for his liking and he began following the scent to the backyard. Climbing over the fence in one easy move, he hit the ground on two feet as though he had preformed the stunt countless times. Taylor then looked up and froze with horror as he saw two humans standing at the edge of the forest.
Demitri rubbed her chin between her index finger and thumb, examining the white sweater. She liked the feel of the fabric and the way the sweater was baggy at the top and had an elastic "belt" at the rim so that the shirt wouldn't fall right off. She turned it over then folded it up and placed it on the bed. "Mind if I use it? It needs a little...tweaking....but I could fix that in a heartbeat." She looked over at her sister, who was rummaging through the boxes.
Adrian blinked and looked down towards the yard before noticing a girl standing in the front yard. He choked on his coffee and threw his cup down on the table. Great. Humans. That is all I need today. He thought to himself, stifling an agitated growl in his throat. He pulled back the curtains and watched the human, hoping that she would not look up and see him watching her through the window.
Annabelle nodded, "Let us go and-" She was cut off as she saw a boy jump over the fence between the front yard and back yard. His face was horror struck as he saw Annabelle and Travis.
