Recently I got a hold of another voice actress from Talespin and her name is Ellen Gerstell. She voiced Katie Dodd from the famous episode, "For Whom The Bell Klangs." She is happy to answer questions, so send them in.

This is Katie Dodd:

What was it like working as Princess Daphne on Dragon's Lair the TV Show?

Dragon's Lair was really fun to do actually.

Please send your questions for Mrs. Gerstell below.

How was it like voicing for Talespin at the time?

I've heard you haven't been doing any voice acting lately. What are you up to these days?

Here are your answers:

1. What projects are you currently working on?

I no longer do voice over.

2. What was it like voicing Katie Dodd on Talespin?

I only did a couple of episodes of Talespin, so I really can't answer that....it was a long time ago

Mmm, that's a bit disapointing, though expected. I think I'll pass, she probably wouldn't be able to answer my questions.

Nice job landing the interview with Ellen. I cannot believe she couldn't think of anything positive or basically anything at all about Tale Spin. Even if she only did a few episodes, you'd think she'd have something to talk about. I used to host a radio show, so I know how annoying/hard it can be to get people to discuss things... I'm new here, so I'm not sure if you've done other interviews, but if not, I'm sure this can only lead to greater things! Good Job!

What are you doing now?

I teach music and give voice lessons and am an acting coach.

I don't know will dear Ellen answer to my post, but I try to ask her.
Why Katie does always wear white gloves?

To protect her hands? She's an archeologist.
I don't think the voice actor could give you the answer; only the writers and/or character designers could.
