It was a long journey, but the two packs of Jasper National Park have finally united, thanks to the efforts of the Alpha Wolf Kate and the Omega Wolf Humphrey, along with the love of Garth and Lilly. However, while at first things seem swell, food supplies begin to run short and both of the formally divided packs begin to blame the other for it. While Kate, Humphrey, Lilly, and Garth try their best to hold their packs together, Lilly and Humphrey find out that two Beta Wolves don’t accept the two Omegas as leaders.

However, these two bullies are the least of their problems, as a feral White Tiger named Kira has been accidentally unleashed on the valley and the true cause of the food shortage. The massive feline intends to turn the two packs against one another and lure them into a trap to destroy them all so she can claim the valley for herself. Will the wolves of Jasper manage to turn things around before its too late?

OOC: Alright, so how should we start? Maybe in the park before the situation with food is discovered?

OOc: yea, everything is going hunky dory, and then a hunting party comes back empty pawed?(everything is going okay, sans the bullies)

OOC: Sure.

Kate walked out of her and Humphrey's den, overlooking the combined pack. Sure, she and Garth were technically still the Alpha Male and Alpha Female, but that was mainly because it seemed Humphrey and Lilly were content being Omegas. She had no problem sharing that authority with another pair, in fact, given the size of the pack, it made things much easier. "Come on Humphrey, I might need your help," she called, doing a flip off the rock in front of the den and landing perfectly. She had to admit, while Humphrey could be a goofball, he was good at a lot of things she wasn't, like breaking up fights. "We need to make sure everyones getting along, remember, we were two different packs a short bit ago. If anyone is fighting, I'll need you."

Garth was up early, as he always was, working out. But truthfully, while he had used it to show off before, he mainly did it to keep himself in shape. He finished quickly and headed back to the den. "Still sleeping, Lilly?" he asked.

Humphrey yawned, his mouth stretching wide. Usually it didn't take him LNG to wake up when Kate wasn't beside him. And that was frequently causing him to wake up, poor Omega. He was quite content with staying Kate's mate and be an Omega. He looked out their den to see Kate flip down. Humphrey smiled and rolled his eyes, shaking out his fur. "Yeah, I know." he said, coming out and stretching. He groaned. "Our work's never done, is it?"

Lilly yawned softly, shaking her head as she did. She looked beside her, abd smiled- Garth always woke up early. She smiled, moving her fur from her left eye, blinking at the brightness of the den. She sat up slowly, smiling as his figue came through. "No, Garth. Outside working out again?" she asked in her high pitched voice.

Kate nodded. "Sorry, I know you're used to playing all the time," she said, feeling a little guilty at forcing Humphrey to help her in a job she was trained and raised to do while Omegas had much more free time normally. "But as Alpha, this is my job, and you know I'm really bad at breaking up fights," she admitted, somewhat embarressed. "My dad always spoke highly of you, now I see why," she said, then realized that probably came out wrong. "Well I mean as a wolf, not as my friend or mate...I mean as a member of the pack...I...I'm just digging myself in deeper aren't I?"

Garth smiled. "Yeah, I like to keep in shape, it's kind of an Alpha thing," he said. "You're Kate's sister, I'm sure you know how hard it is to do what she does," he explained. He gave her a nuzzle, smiling. "I'm glad you kept your fur like that, it fits you a lot better."

Kira watched from the shadows of the cave over the waterfall near the territory. "This valley is not big enough for two apex predators," she said, having a clear Russian accent to her voice, though she was good with english that it didn't make it hard to understand her. "And my prescence has already begun driving the prey from the area, soon one of us will have to go, and it won't be me," she said, crushing a caribu skull under her foot. "Let's see if I can't find a way to thin the numbers a little," she said, heading out of her cave.

Humphrey was on his feet fast, circling to face her. "What? You bother me? Never. I really enjoy waking up early with you, Kate!" he said with a false enthusiasm, tail wagging. He nodded though, shrugging. "Well, you know, you gotta be good at what you do..." he said, patting himself on the shoulder with a paw. He grinned suavely, making him look charmingly befuddled.

Lilly nodded, giving Garth a nuzzle. She was blushing under her platinum fur. "I understand. And I don't mind waking up early." she said, leaning aganst him happily. She wagged her tail as she looked out the mouth of the den. "It's beautiful in the morning, so it's nice to see it." she told him, rubbing her nose to his

Yana woke up hours ago. She took her role seriously, playing Beta. Which meant she was almost always in the hunting party, leading it. She smiled, shaking out her long back and white fur. She was a mish mosh of color, with large golden eyes. She sighed, checking herself out in a nearby puddle of water. "I look fine, just fine. Yana, honey, you got it." she told herself. No one dared laugh at her, or be faced with her rath. But Yana was generally a friendly girl... Except when it came to her pack's state. Two perfectly good Alphas, mated to Omegas... What a waste. Yana seethed, psyching herself out to hunt.

Kate couldn't help but chuckle at that. "You're always able to make me laugh, Humphrey," she said, giving him a nuzzle. "That's why you're so good at this, you make everyone laugh, even in the middle of a fight," she said, smiling. "And you're reliable too, you proved that on our trip back here," she said, very glad she'd had him. "I don't want to take a trip like that again, but on the brightside, it did help sort out everyone's problems."

Garth returned the gesture. "I know, beautiful day," he said. "And honestly, I'm glad you're my mate instead of your sister, you have no idea how releaved I was to hear she didn't want to get married ether," he admitted. "And that she had someone else she loved instead, it'd have been bad if I'd had to break her heart, even to protect yours...and the other way around."

Blaze walked over to his fellow Beta. "Well Yana, you're looking wonderful this morning," he said, looking at himself as well. "I on the otherhand, need a little more working out," he said, where she thought more of herself, he tended to never be satified at how he looked. "Can you believe Kate married that homely little Omega? And Garth...well at least his is an Alpha's daughter, doesn't help make it any less depressing," he stated, though lookaround quickly to see if Eve was around, he did not want to tick that wolf off.

Humphrey grinned bashfully, nuzzling her back. "Hey, we woulda been together in Idaho... But you know, I understand priorities and such-it's an Alpha thing right?" he asked, giving Kate a smirk. "I've got my own duties, but does anyone care?" he asked in mock sadness. He simply nuzzled his mate. "But hey, let's get gong huh?"

Lilly smiled, nodding sheepishly. "I'll admit I was a little upset when I was helping Kate get ready. But i'm glad my sister found someone to make her happy." she said, smiling wider.

Yana chuckled as Blaze complimented her, then chided himself. "Really Blaze, you're in peak physical condition." she said, her eyes looking around warily. She didn't need any of the higher ups around. She growled, rolling her eyes. "Dont even get me started! At least Garth did have the good sense to go for an Alpha's daughter." she said, shaking her fur out and holding her head high. "Come on, tone yourself while we hunt." she said, grinning.

Kate chuckled. "I care," she said, smiling. "Yeah, we'd best head out," she said, starting away. "But at least me and Garth both got our real loves out of it...and Garth's howling doesn't knock out birds anymore," she said with a cringe, remembering how horrid he used to be at it. "I still think you're the better howler though."

Garth nodded. "I know, I mean yeah, it sparked a huge fight, but in the end, it was worth it really," he said. "That and I was afraid if I broke it off and she got upset, your mom would kill me," he explained. "And it doesn't help she told Kate to kill me if I got out of line...she gave you the same speech, didn't she?" he asked hestitantly.

Blaze nodded. "Yeah, true but you can never been toned enough," he said. "But still, they risked throwing the packs into turmoil for it, if it hadn't been for that stampede, we'd still be at each others throats, dumbluck it turned out this way," he explained. "And I'm fairly sure Eve threated Tony into agreeing with it...I don't blaim him for listening..." he muttered. "But still, those two picked with their heart instead of their head and decided to pick Omegas who have no idea what they're doing."

Humphrey smiled, nodding and following her. "Well, I'm certainly happy it all worked out. And your Mom didn't kill me." he said, rubbing his neck with a gulp. "I think I was starting to turn blue..." he said with a nervous laugh

Lilly looked at him in embarrassment. "Well... No. She said, "Sweetie, if Garth gets out of line, let Mommy deal with him..."" she said, imitating Eve's creepily joyful voice. "I don't think I woulda told her though." she said, looking back up at the sun.

Yana chuckled, a little darkly as she stalked off. "Believe me, if you don't listen Eve makes good on her threats." she said, giving a real shudder. "But I don't blame Tony either, I would do the same thing." she said, looking disgusted. "What shame these unions wrought, if another pack ever intruded." she told Blaze, looking at herself in another puddle. "But, there's no way to stop it- hmph, not unless we were in charge. If that happened, tradition would be honored." Yana said indefinitely, eyes blazing.

Kate nodded. "Yeah, sorry about that..." she said nerviously. "Mom's just very protective of the pack, in all honesty, I pretty sure if someone hurt you, she'd do much worse to them," she explained. "Though you probably don't want to know what she told me to do to you if you do something to hurt me..." she said nerviously. "I would never do it but still...you know mom."

Garth shivered at that. "That's even scarier than what she wanted Kate to do..." he said, slightly scared. "But I don't think we'll have much to worry about, I'd never hurt you on purpose," he said, nuzzling her.

"Yeah, I know," said Blaze. "If we were Alphas, it'd still unite the packs," he continued. "But nothing we can do about it, sense Eve's daughters are both lead females, and I'd rather continue like that than get her mad, I like my eyes in my head."
