What's your favourite non-canine animal?

As pretty much any member can tell, this site is mostly canine-related, and I know for a fact a lot of people here see canines as godly animals xD But what about all the other amazing creatures out there?

So yeah, I made this topic because I'd love to here what others favourite non-canine animals are. And just a pointer: Please write a reason why you like the particular animal and maybe a link of a picture if it's something people may not know. It's a bit boring otherwise c:

Personally, my favourite non-canine animals are the Blue Duiker and the Bongo. I seem to have a strange african animal obsession cx I have loved Duiker's ever since I saw one at Colchester Zoo last summer. I love these little antelopes because of how minture they are. You just wanna cuddle them really :3

I love the Bongo for a very different reason, I adore their beautiful red coats with long, thin cream/white stripes going down their necks and back. They are very unique, gorgeous animals, yet they seem to be forgotten for some reason :c

So, what are your favourites? (:

Capital I idea, Dee! ^^
Those are adorable! Deer are very awesome :3
As some of my list might prove.

:|+|:

Though I do love wolves and dogs [dobies], they aren't even my favorite! ...I don't really have one favorite... they're all kinda equal...
Also love:

The Gypsy Vanner - Gorgeous horse. I love drafts in general, and for some reason these just fascinate me. And I WANT ONE.

Wapiti [Elk] - Such majestic animals... I don't know why I love them so.

Leopard Seal - They pwn everything. Including your face.

Turtles - I've always loved turtles. Both of land and sea. I think it's cause they're so freaking cute.

Orca [Killer Whale] - Combine the answer for turtles and leopard seals.

Polar Bears - Beautiful animals. I like bears in general. But it might be because these are the biggest I picked them. I like big animals...

Tigers - and speaking of big animals.. the tiger being the largest big cat, AND striped, I love tigers. [avoids reason 3]

Brachiosaurus - ...do extinct species count? Ah well. If not here's an honorable mention. I LOVE dinosaurs. This one's my fav.

More or less honorable mention-ish - Opossums - [C'mon! they're cute!] | Bats - [I shared a home with them for most of my life] | Gorillas - [Not sure why].

...I like to many 8|

I really like birds, for some reason. Not tiny robins, but bigger birds, like eagles and hawks.
My favorite type of hawk is the Harris Hawk. Dunno why, I just think their feathers are pretty. And they are one of the more social types of hawks. ^^ Link: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=harris+hawk&view=detail&id=80D770317546B2F44E974571512DD23636CE47A8&first=1&FORM=IDFRIR

I also like otters, ever since I went to the zoo when I was little. I was pressed up against the glass, and one pressed itself against the glass too. Right in front of me. Then did a flip. It was sooo cool. ^^ (I didn't put a pic, cause most people know what they look like, lol)
