Kylee trudged along a narrow, slightly snowy tracked hill. She was making some progress and getting to the top, it seemed. She was followed by a few others, though. She turned back to see if they were at the same pace as her, or just lagging behind her. Her sparkling brown eyes searched for the oh so familiar figures she had seen not too long ago before she caught three of them.

Connor panted only a few times before sticking his tongue back in his mouth. "We almost there, cuz?" He barked.

Their two partners walked behind them, humans dressed in neat uniforms that seemed to provide as their own personal camouflage.
Kylee kept searching for the others of the group, hoping they'd turn up soon.

Connor rolled his dark blue-gray eyes at the bunch. Sure there was a risk, but they hadn't even gone more than a few miles out of training camp, and already Damien was acting like top dog. Whatever, the light colored dog decided. He wasn't even sure what to think about the war himself, actually. Should he be excited? Proud? Fearful? He shook off the last word. Never fear anything, they had been taught. Fear is the aid of death. He bristled his fur and shook it to get rid of any bad feelings or memories. Looking back, he could see the tension once more. "C'mon, guys. They're waiting for us up ahead. If we don't hurry up, they'll make us sleep in the dirt." He gave them a serious stare, but one that had a hidden joke beneath the eyes.
