Mk, so I just wanted to ask a little question or say something, whatever. Basically, I was looking at the reports on Spirit Source, and I noticed that most of the reports are about the shoutbox. Now I realize that there are shoutbox moderators, but I am wondering what can they do about the constant reports? No one ever answers them and I'm left to do all the reports. I can't do the shoutbox ones cause I have no idea how to deal with it. I can't delete the comments so what is it considered? Just not a problem? I mean.. there's really nothing you can do about it if it's in the shoutbox as far as I'm concerned...
And I guess this rant is probably about the fact that the mods on SS don't take care of reports as often as they should. I one time was forced to do 22 reports on there because I tried to leave them since they weren't really in my section (fan videos) and yet almost three days later still no one closed them. I'm a bit tired of being pretty much the only one who bothers to close the reports. It takes a bit of time to assess the various situations and try to decide what to do and whether you should do it or not.

Maybe this seems like a stupid question or a stupid rant, but I felt it has to be said, so there you have it.

What? Report it to UK, no mod should be left with all the reports.

I'm trying not to be a pest, but I have noticed that sometimes the mod of the section doesn't deal with their reports, and a mod from a different section does, if you want my advice, talk to UK about it.

What is this trend of not telling me when you're unhappy?
I can't fix it unless I know about it. All I have to go on are the logs and from those the mods are working - if you're unhappy about seeming to have more work than you should let me know so I can hire new mods and/or replace those that aren't active.

How are people supposed to close them?...

Well, I think your suppost to deal with them, (ie someone uses SMS, PM them, or warn them) and then close it.

This. Just because the conversation in the shoutbox has already ended doesn't mean actions can no longer be taken. If something that got reported is bad enough, the member needs to be warned. It's also sometimes good to check back in the previous messages where the conversation happened to investigate what all had happened.
