for French people here

Sorry I dunno where to post it...

I don't want to insult anyone, but this is a message for all the French people in this site: Can you please check if someone talks French before commenting on their pages/stuff?

It had to be said because it irritates me a little. Hey, I want to understand everyone, especially if they're talking about my works...

Whenever someone who speaks French comments on my page I just go to google translator and copy their comment in there. I even go to the measure of saying "thanks so much" in their language as well.

Isn't it better if they comment on your page than if they didn't at all?
And besides that, don't tell them to not speak French when this whole entire site was built up in that language first. English came after. If you want to understand them so badly, don't tell them to speak English. They shouldn't have to when the site has a French version on it (not only that, but as I stated earlier, it was made in that language FIRST.)

In fact, if you ever take a look at the staff on each site, there's always a translator who had to translate all the French to English to be able to give all us English speakers the opportunity to enjoy it as well.

And I agree was Sorakun on your current group/pack. That's a overdoing it a bit too much. I understand you're annoyed but this is very easily solved. It's not like they cussed you out in French so I don't see how you could really get so angry over that to take it to that measure.

Also, the fan content is shared between the sites, so you can't really stop them from commenting. They have rights to. I get French comments all the time, and I don't understand them either, I just go on my way.

And yes, your group/pack is insulting, please change it.

Then ignore the comments and go about your merry way.

Sometimes the galleries of English members pop up on the French side of the site and they comment, I don't see why they should have no right to particularly if they're complimenting you.
I'd imagine they get frustrated when English comments pop up on the French side.

Personally I do not care how the comment is typed, if someone comments on my work, I'm grateful that they took time out of their lives to do so.

I think it's kind of interesting they speak french on my fanart and images or characters but it does annoy me when I can't read them.How do I read frech words if I don't understand what they mean?

As I said before, the fan content is shared between both the French/English sides of AS, so they have every right to comment. As for your question, it has been answered above.

Oh I am sorry didn't see that... but yeah you should respect French people as well as English I do find it interesting to read what they say though..wish I can type like that XD or understand their language^

If you find it hard to put what they have said on your gallery/profile etc into Google translator, think about how 'hard' it is for the French people of AS to actually translate bios and profiles. Personally, I think you should be glad these people care to comment on your stuff :/

Oh yes, since the majority of the people here write in English, they have to translate character bios, author comments' under fan art and images.
And what do they say so "difficult" to understand? I always find (expecially under my fan images and characters on TLKS) "Jolì" "Super" "J'adore" and I think those words are very easilly to understand, with or without a translator; I doubt they write poems in french to comment a drawing xD

Yes, why shouldn't they comment in french? Some of them comment and write bios in english, others do it in french, why? Because the site is both English and French.
