Hm, well. This was originally to help out a friend but I decided to make a quick tutorial out of it too incase anyone wanted to take a gander at it LOL.

1: Start out with a few circles and a 'back bone'
Image
2: Add some basic lines to what you already have to form the contours of the ear, muzzle, and legs
Image
3: Once you have all that done, VERY lightly erase it, so that you can still see it, but it's not as dark
Image
4: Then draw the outline using the lighter skeleton/shapes&lines
Image
5: After you have the outline just how you like it, erase the skeleton and shapes in the inside COMPLETELY.
Image
6: Then all you do is add the details such as the nose, inside of ears, paw lines, or anything else you like
Image

Hope it helps any ^^ Remember: This is MY way of drawing them. If you don't like it or find it doesn't help, then just go and find another way. XD Remember practice makes perfect! (:

Not bad, although I think the best way of learning to draw anything is starting with simple shapes and reference images.

Circles are all well and good but a wolf isn't made of only 3 circles, it doesn't matter how scruffy your sketches are - basic shapes before detail.

I don't mean to hijack your tutorial topic btw. ^^'
Just adding my experience to it.

Thanks for the critique ^^ Although I just put up what I do haha XD I guess it may not be for extreme beginners but for those who already somewhat know how to draw, just need improvement or something. I don't really know for sure LOL XD
