In The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina there were countless rescue efforts. But The pets of one town faced a choice. Live abandoned on the streets,Go to an overcrowded rescue center, or go with A fearless young leader. The dream That was held in all their hearts was to find their humans again. But will They make it?

Katrina

Name: Shadow

Breed: Black Fur'd German Shepherd
Personality: Brave and Loyal, Not the most Friendly of all dogs but certainly the most Brave. Strong headed but doesnt care to fight, but will Take down any who challenge him.
History: A Family Guard dog to a family of two. a Husband and Wife who loved Shadow very much, they always trusted him to watch out for visitors and scare of any bugulars or strangers that invade their home. Obedient and Loving to his family, probably the only humans he could trust as any other human usaully had a weird bad scent that his owners saw as bad people. so he learnt to not trust nearly any human but those who raised him. He did on accident tackle down one of his master's Brothers on accident thinking it was a bugular and was severely punished by being scent outside to sleep in the cold. But on that night of him being outside there was a Fire starting in the kitchen while his owners Slept. he scented this fire and In panic started to fight to pull free of his chains. the images of his owners dieing Scared him but sparked up all his Bravery and pulled free of the chain. ignoring his extreme pains in his neck from the chain pull he Pushed through the dog door into his house, which unluckily enough was the way into the kitchen where he saw the fire. Bravely Skipping past the flames and hurried up to his owners room. Nudging them and barking loudly to wake them, they fighted him back complaining bout waking up in middle of night till his Master (the Husband) smelled the fire and quickly rushed his wife and Dog outside. His owners found a new respect for Shadow that night.. A Hero. a Few weeks later after Shadow was documented as a hero from the local Media. Katrina hit. And so starts his journey of Aftermath. (Longest history i ever made..)

Personality: Kenya acts like she can endure anything, hiding her real emotions. She hates to show her weaknesses or reveal any problems, severe or not. She is courageous and loyal, and though he tongue can be sharp, she is surprisingly gentle with her friends.
History: Mainly to explain her species, I'm including only a few details. Her owner was interested in falconry, something Kenya had talent for. She was used for that, but more importantly, was a close friend with him.
