Okay, so I happen to be a webranker on SS, myself. So that basically means that I have acsess to the Mod.panel for webrakers. (But not for the actual "Mods", which do a very good job ;]) But I have sat in bed every night of Christmas vacation so far wondering, 'Why aren't the webrakers doing thier jobs?' Oh and believe me, it may just be the SS webranking section.

People, I know it not like Steet asked for you to literally spam up the webranking section, but it's not as active as it should be. And it's really all up to the webrankers to atract new visitors to the site, and no wonder we're loosinng users. 'Rankers, please! We HAVE to be popular. DO your job! Just DO IT.

Instead of straight out ranting, why not PM UK? She's the admin on SS.

It's a common thing for webrankers to not do their job, trust me. I was once there back in 2008 when I webranked for Balto Source. At first it was jumping, but after a few weeks no one did their jobs. Steet did remove the group for a bit to re think it out and added it back this year? Whenever that was I got a MASS PM (To all the original webrankers.) asking to return, I ignored the PM, I knew it wouldn't be worth it. No offense.

I don't think your losing members by not webranking, your just not gaining anything. And really, the whole point isn't just gaining members, it's to have sites that aren't linked to Spirit Source link to it.

You can always start by setting an example?
Keep it active and PM me if some of the webrankers aren't doing their jobs and I can remind them to do it or remove them.

Actually we are doing our job, so please don't straight away rant about it. If you didn't notice, it takes a lot of time for people who own Spirit related or Balto related or whatever related sites to respond to messages. I have pmed several people owning sites belonged to Spirits being a webranker myself and so far they haven't answered me. I tried adding it on wiki links and did so, I tried adding it on fanpop but saske already added it, etc.

Please do not go and accuse us of not doing out job, because the facts are that we are indeed doing our jobs. Maybe for you it takes no time at all to get links up, but for the rest of us it takes time.

Webranking can be a slow process, and a lot of the time it's hard to find sites. I'm sure every site isn't active in the webranking logs, for example I'll tend to take a break for months until I do another search and manage to find any sites that don't have our link. There are some that may not be active at it for months like me and there may be some that are not active at all. Technically the gaining of members will just be slow, but we won't lose any unless they decide to leave on their own. The more sites we have our link on the more potential visitors, but this can be time consuming.
