This is a topic about all the Resident Evil games since I'm a big fan of the series. I enjoy the whole horror survival feeling and the strategy of conserving ammo for when you really need it. My favorite one would probably be the first game in the series. The mansion I thought was the creepiest setting plus the live action opening was so cheesey, It was awesome . So what's your favorite resident evil game? And make sure you give reasons why.

Of the old-school survival-horror style Resident Evil games, I have to also say RE1(The remake is great too). Resident Evil 2 and 3: Nemesis are great games, but they were too easy. Too much ammo was available. In Resident Evil 1, you fire and miss a handgun bullet, you feel the sting. And if you miss a shotgun blast you might as well reload your last save. I liked this kind of atmosphere.

However, RE2 and Nemesis were still good games. RE2 was pretty simple and fun all around, and RE3 added some new things to the formula. Nemesis is ridiculous on the Hard Mode, and I think RE3 takes the gold for having the more irritating and challenging puzzle of all the games. (The one at the end where you have to test the water sample with the colored bars. If you don't get it the first five minutes, it takes 3 hours.)

Ha yea I liked some of the improvements in the Remake like how you have to burn the zombies bodies after killing them or else they'll come back as crimson heads. 2 was pretty easy but to be honest, I beat 2 with cheats :/ I have 3 but never got far in it. My friend played it a lot more than me. I wanted to Kill all the nemesis tyrants when I encountered them so I could get the gun parts and unlimited ammo for one gun. 4 was different but still enjoyable. It had a good atmosphere and gameplay. 5 Was average to me but I still think 5 is the worst in the series. Now that I'm thinking about it, has anyone ever played the spin-off games Resident Evil Outbreak and Resident Evil Outbreak File# 2?

I loved all the side RE games to like Dead Aim, Surviver which is first person view, Unbrella Chronicles and Dark Chronicles, Code veronica x, Zero and the others that I missed. I also cant remember if Biohazard is another name or not, but so far it looks like they already started making Resident Evil 6 so I personaly hope that will be a reality cuz gotta love RE, though I miss the zombies im not to entertained with the mind control crap I want the undead backXD

I loved all the secrets to, like on RE 2 play the game on hard without picking up anything no ammo no nothin and under the police station is a brad a super zombie that appears if done right and after ya kill him you get the special key to get new gun and gear, I love things like that, bad thing was is there to easy and to short, id always put it on hard and play threw whole game no saves no aid spray's, first time I think it took me alittle over 2 hours a full play threw hard game setting plus getting everything and getting top rank at end^^
