Hey everyone,

Since it's been a couple of months and there hasn't been any activity with the comic, I was wondering if a narrative format (text) with occasional illustrated scenes would work better for the VS. This is one of the formats we originally considered. Would we get some activity on the art side this way?

I would be pitching in a lot more, but I still don't think I'm doing well enough to really submit anything. I really want to stay true to the style as much as possible, I'm not quite there yet

Once I got it down, it shouldn't be a problem

Personally, I've always thought that an audio format would be the best. It's the easiest and quickest to do, but that's just me honestly.

So that would mean taking the screenplay and adding artworks onto it. It can work, but I admit it's less satisfactory than a comic. (More realistic, sure)
I think our biggest problem is that no one has "dared" to really get on the job and start drawing the comic from page one. I'm not blaming anyone, I know very well we all have trouble to "get into it". (If I had to blame, I would start with myself)

Hi all. I was bored so I started converting the 2nd pilot into fanfic format. The first part (Chapters 1-5) is up on fanfiction.net. Let me know if you guys like it. Maybe we could get a couple of illustrations for it eventually.

I plan to write a couple more episodes for the VS, and I am thinking I will use this format (rather than the script format) from now on.

Actually I vote to just convert the whole goal of our project. I think a full comic is just not happening. But if our goal was just fanfic form with illustrations here and there, I think it would be realistic. An added benefit is, there are already plenty of great fics out there. Assuming we could get the authors' permission it would be easy to just illustrate a few scenes and call it a VS "episode."

I agree, for one big reason, I'm actually more able to help with this! I've actually been writing a fanfic out of cutscenes from a video game to give a feel of the characters in a more personal way, here's the work I've done there:

Different thing, but the point is, I've got experience in converting something into fanfiction format.
