if u like problem solving games , game that have alot of weopns, groteck looking creaturs and a really challenging game every silent hill is for u.

the game is like hell on earth and the creatures look so disscusting and the sounds that they make are bone chilling so if u want to play a really horifing game that has a good chance of stoping your heart play silent hill and not just the first one.

Silent Hill #1 is for ps1 silent hill 2 is for xbox and ps2 silent hill 3 is for ps2 and silent hill 4: the room is for xbox and ps2 but if u want it easyer change the play level to beginer and the riddle level to beginer but the harder u put the difficuly the more and better things u unlock so play them and try not to have a heart attack. ps don't play around old peaple incase of heart attack.

YAY! I liked the Second one I HAVE IT! And I can say that it was HARD even I played it with easy level *meaning missions in it and problem solving* but haven't tested the first, Third, or the Fourt one...I have saw pics from Third one and hear other stuff from it....

I played the first one and the second, I couldn't play the others (my graphics card isn't good enough)
The first one was very good, but for once, I just LOVED the second much more! I think that this is one of the best survival horrors ever made.
Although, I think that Silent Hill should be more a movie than a game. Because the gameplay isn't that good, it's more the story that is interesting.

They are making a movie in fact, and I believe that it may become the best movie based on a game ever made...

Yaa....I don't know what ya mean, but one thing took interest that I won't never play that game in Easy way, I get Chainsaw at the start :x

well for me the story line, it was a bit interesting in 2 but in the third one it is bit diffrent, As Steet said for a Movie, nääh it would be Hard to make a movie about it, but I and my Friend have thought same (yes we have thought) as from the Third one, but in second one was the Hunting rifle, I didn't like from it because I couldn't shot with it easily, Pistol and Chainsaw are da Best!, As in Third when you Finish it you will get Light Saber ahaha I laughed when I heard that, but as a weapon Light Saber wasn't so good after all, but when you will get SMG what have endless ammo, then it is boring, it's more funnier to play against enemies with Hard way, and they dont die as easily then.

But Resident Evil, Doom those get movies, why not Silent Hill?, That is hard one, or then no one haven't thought to do so...

Ehe Ehe...

Hmm... I'm not so sure, that don't tell so much but if they are going to make a movie I think that it won't be so good than the game, but still makes think what kind of movie it is

well Plot ain't so interesting
Quote:
Rose cannot accept the knowledge that her daughter Sharon is dying of a fatal disease. Over the protests of her husband, she flees with her child, intending to take the girl to a faith healer. On the way, she ends up driving through a portal in reality, which takes her to the eerie and deserted town of Silent Hill. Sharon disappears in Silent Hill, and Rose follows what she thinks is her daughter's silhouette all over town. It's soon clear the town is not like any place she's ever been. It's inhabited by a variety of creatures and a living darkness that descends and literally transforms everything it touches. The human inhabitants - the ones who are left - are trapped and fighting a losing battle against the Darkness. Joined by a cop named Cybil, who has been sent to bring her and Sharon back, Rose searches for her little girl while learning the history of Silent Hill and that Sharon is just a pawn in a larger game. To save her daughter, Rose makes a deal with a demon in the form of a little girl.....
at least not in my mind...it would be better if it is from Silent Hill 2 but it is from something else, but is this from game this plot?

In this world, there are two kinds of survival-horror fans;

Resident Evil Fans - People that are asking for a heart attack. They like the kind of horror that jumps out and grabs you. More like the kind of thing that makes you jump.

Silent Hill Fans - People that like the kind of horror that creeps up on you. THEY like the kind of horror that builds up suspense to a point that they have to wipe the palms of their hands on their jeans before opening that creaky door.

I, myself, enjoyed Silent Hill 2. I absolutely adore PYRAMID HEAD!!! WH00T!!

BTW, SILENT HILL 5 FOR PS3!!! YAY!! :D :D :D :D

I like both Silent hill and Resident evil :)
I'm playing Resident evil 4 now, and it's georgeous :) Best graphics I've ever seen in my life for a game.

There are no zombies, but humans who have a sort of virus (I didn't go that far into the game yet) But I agree it is a bit the same.
There are people with chainsaws since the beginning of the game, though...
