Personality: she is very sentimental and easily upset - often found to be the one crying and is nicknamed blabbermouth by the others.her closest friend Jade is the only one who understands her emotional ways for both of them are madly in love with florance.they follow him around like lost puppies and spend most their days giggling about him and discussing their future family - but there is jelously between them too and Persy thinks she has the upper advantage becuase she is closest in height to florance whereas Jade thinks she has the chance becuase she is purebred.her voice is deemed annoying by many as it is very false and overly sweet,so the males tend to keep away from her.Florance only puts up with her because she is a trophy girl to him.
History: adopted from a rescue shelter as her owners could no longer cope with a whining puppy she was bought by a couple who wanted a dog gotguard the house - persy does a lousy job but they still kept her becuase she was pretty.She is unnaware of her heritage and no one wants to tell her of it because if they do she will talk about it non stop.the secret is that her grandfather is steele and her mum was the result of a unwanted mating.
She never ends up with florance after he tricks her into thinking she is related to him, in her disgust she shuns him completely and instead vows to never form a long lasting realtionship

Name Meaning: Predator, hunter, top of the food chain.
Age: 3
Breed: Shiba Inu/Akita/Husky mix

Crush: Persephone
Likes: Persephone, snow, the beach, being feared, being alone.
Dislikes: Dogs who make fun of him, being in a large crowd, losing a fight.
Personality: Apex is a quiet dog due to the fact his parents were killed by wolves when he was merely a pup. Ever since he kept to himself and struck fear into the hearts of dogs who would try and become friends with him or get in his way. His attitude keeps not only dogs, but humans away too. Apex sometimes spends time at the beach, thinking of the one thing he'd always wanted to get ever since the wolves killed his parents: Revenge. His anger led to loneliness, and one day an illegal person from a dog-fighting club caught him and put him in the dog fights. The dog fights turned him even more cold and he further isolated himself from friendlier dogs. When he lost, it struck a huge blow to his pride and out of frustration, he ran away and hid in the town. Rarely can anyone break the icy walls that entrap his heart.
History: One day, Apex and his mother were out walking in the woods, his father had stayed behind to watch the waves roll by on the beach. Mother and son were having a great time exploring when suddenly they were jumped by a pack of starving wolves who were desperate for food. The wolves attacked, and Apex's mother told him to hide. He did so, and watched as his mother tried to fight off the wolves. Moments later his father ran in to try and save her, but he was too late and out-numbered; he died too. Horrified by what he'd witnessed while hiding among the thorns of a near by bush, Apex ran off as fast as his legs would carry him, all the while tears streamed down his cheeks. Apex stopped when he was sure he would be safe, and cried until he could cry no more. Then he realised that he had to be strong, had to be tough if he was to survive the cruel world in his puppyhood. He stayed in the town, his heart as cold as the ice and snow beneath his paws, and refused to make any friends. Apex wanted to be feared, he wanted others to stay away because he had it in his mind that no-one could be trusted. The pup grew and while he was challenging a few coyotes for their fresh kill, he was caught by a man who ran the illegal dog fights. He was taken to the dog fights and made to fight other dogs and even sometimes kill them. It made some of his anger fade, but not all of it, and the more he fought, the more he was unknowingly losing himself. One night he was beaten in a fight by a doberman mix and in frustration he ran away from the fights and to the beach, where he found a small hidden cave and lived there ever since. Apex sometimes would go into town to steal food from the butcher if he couldn't find any seagulls to catch.
Relation to Balto: He is Jenna's nephew.
How Apex Met Persephone: Apex was walking along the beach one night and decided to near the town, it was then that he bumped into Persephone. He had a crush on her almost instantly. Persephone is the only dog that can break down the icy walls around his heart.
How Apex feels about her past love Florence: In all truth, Apex couldn't really care less about any past loves she had, as long as they were past. He is the sort of dog who only cares about now and later.
