There is one for animated couples; so why not couples from books? They need love, too! :]

Who are your favorite couples? They can be romantic couples (boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, ect), friends, or even enemies. Include what book they are from and why you like them - try adding more than "I think they're cute together" though, that is a lame response. x] (Just please only cannon ones. .-.)


The Hunger Games

Pair : Finnick & Annie (romantic)
Why I like them : Finnick by himself is just an amazing character. He's kind of described as the guy every girl wants; and he can get literally any girl he wants. But the one he loves happens to be the mad [crazy] girl from back home, not one of the ton of girls that would fling herself to his feet. And the scenes between the two are just so sweet.

Pair : Gale & Katniss (friendship)
Why I like them: These two just complimented each other so well. Gale really brought out the more spunky side of Katniss. Many times I thought they were going to end up together - and I kind of still wish they had. The scenes between these two were almost always fun.

Pair : Peeta & Katniss (romantic)
Why I like them : Ugh. Peeta was just amazingly sweet all the time. I think a big reason why I liked their relationship so much is because Peeta had known since he saw Katniss (and saved her life, actually) that he really loved her. And through the whole first book and a lot of the second, Katniss didn't realize that the love he confessed for her was real, not just a part of a plan. Their love was just so... innocent in a way that made it really hard not to like.


Harry Potter

Pair : Harry & Ginny (romantic)
Why I like them : Ever since book two when Ginny sent Harry the Valentines’ Day thing I just had a feeling something was going to happen between the two. I really don't know why, but the two just seemed made for each other. It took them long enough to get their feelings for each other out in the open, that's for sure. xD

Pair : Ron & Herminone (romantic)
Why I like them : Oh god, Ron was so oblivious. But even from early on in the series you could just tell the two had feelings for each other. I really liked the two characters individually, but they worked so well as a couple. Plus, I just love their first kiss scene. x]

Pair : Remus Lupin & Tonks (romantic)
Why I like them : How can you NOT like Lupin and Tonks? I was really disappointed when the sixth movie completely killed their relationship, because it really was awesome. I really don't know how to explain why I like them so much, but I just do. It might have something to do with I really liked Lupin's character - you really felt sorry for the poor guy. And Tonks was just perfect for him and didn't care that he was a werewolf. And their son is just too darn cute.


Percy Jackson

Pair : Percy & Annabeth (friendship [at least at the point I'm at now in the series - book 2])
Why I like them : They complement each other wonderfully so far. There's really not much I can say about the two since I haven't read very far into the series, but I love some of their banters. x]


The Sight

Pair : Huttser & Palla (romantic)
Why I like them : It wasn't until later in the book where I really started to decide this was one of my favorite couples. During the chapter where they are about to be forced to fight to the death, both wanting to just end the other so they wouldn't have to suffer - it was just amazing. The pair go through so much, yet at the end that love still stands strong.


Twilight

Pair : Jasper & Alice (romantic)
Why I like them : Everything about this couple I love, just everything. They are just so sweet and I really wish they had gotten more time in the books.

Pretty much makes my post haha XD
But I do have a bit more to say about one.... (since I've read all the books so far.. heh ^^;

Percy Jackson

Pair: Percy & Annabeth
Why I like them: They are like.. the PERFECT couple. I love them being together <333 And from "The Lightning Theif" all the way to the first book in the new series (The Heroes of Olympus), "The Lost Hero", they are the ultimate pair.

This, 100%. <3 I loved Alice and Jasper, so much. Especially as Alice is my favourite character x3

Maximum Ride

Pair: Max and Fang
Why?: For one, both Fang and Max aren't "perfect" characters. Dylan is like a walking magazine, I swear, I just hate him. He may be sincere on the inside, but on the outside he looks way too perfect for me to like. If that makes sense. As for Fang and Brigid...ugh. Seven year difference, not to mention the whole no wings wrinkle. Just no. Please.
I seriously think Fang is Max's perfect other half. He understands her in a way no one else does. They have history, yeah. Which makes them an even better couple. He never should have left her!!! WHY James Patterson?? WHY?!?! (I now end my rant/explanation)

The Lost Hero

Pair: Piper and Jason
Why?: Come on, they really are a cute couple. I love how Piper actually is pretty, but she tries to hide it in a way, instead of the other way around. You can tell she really does like Jason, and Jason grows to like her too, as far as I can tell.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Pair: Beckendorf and Silena
Why?: Again, cute couple. I liked how Beckendorf was shy, and Silena tried not to show she liked him too. But everyone could tell.

Pair: Percy and Annabeth
Why?: Same reasons everyone else has said.

Hunger Games

Pair: Katniss and Gale
Why?: I felt like Gale knew Katniss better. She didn't even admit to herself there was a closer bond than friendship there, but it shows later in the series. I felt the complimented each other better. I would've preferred her to be with Gale rather than Peeta.

Harry Potter

Pair: Really, all the couples that Tibbeh named. I loved them. ^^
Why?: Same reasons too, really.

Ranger's Apprentice

Pair: Halt and Lady Pauline
Why?: Both awesome characters, for one. I was sort of contemplating that possibility before the book that started their relationship even came out.

Pair: Will and Alyss
Why?: Come on, how can you not like this couple? They're perfect for each other! I love the fact that Will is shorter than Alyss too, for some reason.

Pair: Horace and Jenny
Why?: Not sure why. I just thought that they would be cute together, especially with Horace's big appetite and Jenny's awesome cooking.

the 39 Clues

Pair: Amy and Ian
Why?: Yeah, maybe I'm a bit crazy. But near the end, you could tell Ian actually did care for her, even if he was a lying, scheming jerk.

Inheritance Cycle

Pair: Roran and Katrina
Why?: Come on, he stood up to her dad, battled Razaac, etc. for her! They both love each other a lot, and compliment each other. Really awesome couple right there.

Pair: Eragon and Arya
Why?: I thought it was kinda cute, honestly, Eragon crushing on Arya. Age difference or not. Even if she completely rejected him, I think Eragon's crush is still sweet.

Midnighters

Pair: Rex and Melissa
Why?: They've been together the longest, and I think understand each other the best. Melissa helped Rex out with his dad, even if it did mess up. And Rex was always there for Melissa.

Pair: Jessica and Jonathan
Why?: Cute couple. Cute, cute couple. I enjoy their interactions and the whole flying thing...way awesome.

First Truth (and all the sequels)

Pair: Alissa and Strell
Why?: I liked their rocky relationship at first, with all the conflict. It was fun to read about. But when they actually started to like each other...they soon became one of my favorite couples. They suit each other. What more can I say?



That's all I can think of for now...

For some reason, EVERYONE likes that pair but I hate it! Maybe it's cause I don't like the characters? LOL the only reason I pushed myself to read The Lost Hero is because I knew Percy was going to be in the next book: The Son of Neptune XD Otherwise, I wouldn't have EVER finished it. To be honest? My favorite character is Leo. I kinda like Jason but the whole thing with Piper completely ruins it.

The Sight

Pair: Larka & Kar
Why I Like Them: At first, I kinda hated them liking each other when they were pups (because Fell was and still is my favorite character and he was being left out a lot), but towards the end I thought they were really sweet towards each other. I HATE how they never became mates at the end but still, they liked each other and knew it so that was good enough for me for them to become one of my favorite couples ^^
