In 2011, Metallica will be 30. I have heard rumors of "something special" happening, but obviously nothing's been announced. My idea of what it COULD be: a (maybe not so) short tour celebrating BOTH 30 years of Metallica AND 20 years of the Black Album. *ahem* maybe something like this:

METALLICA 30th ANNIVERSARY/BLACK ALBUM TOUR

1. Enter Sandman
2. Sad But True
3. Holier Than Thou
4. The Unforgiven
5. Wherever I May Roam
6. Don't Tread On Me
7. Through the Never
8. Nothing Else Matters
9. Of Wolf And Man
10. The God That Failed
11. My Friend of Misery
12. The Struggle Within
--------------------intermission-------------------------
13. The Four Horsemen
14. Creeping Death
15. Master of Puppets
16. One
17. Wasting My Hate
18. Fuel
19. Frantic
20. Cyanide
-------------------encore 1--------------------------
21. Last Caress/Green Hell
22. Turn the Page
23. Die Die My Darling
-------------------encore 2--------------------------
24. The Frayed Ends of Sanity
25. Disposable Heroes
26. For Whom the Bell Tolls
27. Hit the Lights

OR

Set 1: Black Album
Set 2: One track from every other album in chronological order maybe highlighting some rarities (ala Score)
Encore 1: Covers
Encore 2: one track from Justice, Puppets, and Ride (maybe more rarities) and end with Hit the Lights (first song written by Metallica)

What do you think?
Any other ideas?

Shame the Black Album is nothing more than a pile of crap.

Metallica is the band of all time, love all the songs. i can listen to Metallica and just forget about time.

Am I the only one who thought St. Anger was an awesome album?
