I personally think that music that is edited from its original nature messes it up. I always buy my music from FYE, Best Buy but not from Walmart. Walmart tends to have something against the music nowadays. Do you guys particularly look for edited music, because I generally really dislike it. I always tell my dad when a constantly edited song comes on the radio, I say "either they should play it right, or not play it at all" because it can ruin the whole song, or even the CD in itself.

Moral: Dont expand your collection at Walmart.

Any thoughts?

Good call.

Its really better all n' all if youre going to listen to radio, to go with satellite radio, like Sirius or XM.

I personally prefer to listen to my music, unedited. I like to catch the mistakes the people make, even if they don't make any. Because if they don't make any, it just sounds like I'm listening to music, that has been edited.

I don't think you understand the meaning of this topic. It isn't about mistakes, it's about editing out swearing in the songs.

I don't care to listen to music that contains large amounts so swearing, so I really can't say.

I agree with Gypseys remark.

I was actually expecting a poll to be here*is surprised*.

I prefer music unedited because it doesn't feel natural to me when lyrics are blanked out. It's not like editing really works all the time; I once heard "disturbia" in a store and the "s" word was bleeped out but could still be understood almost entirely, which made me wonder why it even got edited.

I really don't think stores should be able to sell edited music, anyway. Lol. Just have a warning on the CD covers, and if a kid tries to buy one of the CD's that people might find the need to edit without a parent present, the just 'card' them. (Heck, I'm almost 20 and I've been carded to buy the Resident Evil movies). A few 'bad words' in music isn't going to distroy a child's innocence. I'm pretty much positive they hear worse in school anyway. And if the kid is really that young, well it falls on mommy and daddy to not let their kids have CD's like that.
