Make Balto a purebred dog. And make him less boring and perfect.
Also have all the other REAL dogs in the film that deserved the fame just as much (if not more) than Balto.

I would do a few things:

Make the designs to the dogs other the Balto and Jenna a bit more natural, as they tend to be contorted.

Omit muk and luk

Make Rosie's voice less obnoxious.

Omit or heavily modify Star.
