I know this topic is pretty much a question in itself but there isnt a source for this and Im sure some people who use this game forum have conquered this game or are close. This isnt a spoiler, think of it as a game guide. I've also searched Google for the answers and its failed. So here they are. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Whats the sweet spot of Master Hand and Crazy Hand?
How is Wolf and Toon Link unlocked for use?
How to effectively defeat a team on classic, how do I do it?
What goes on in the subspace emissary (adventure mode) after 72%?
How is Sonic unlocked for use?
and
Do the credits ever appear?

Thanks.
Authored by me and Rusty.

There isn't really a 'sweet spot' against Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Just keep hitting them with the character you've chosen. Really, just make sure your attacks are connecting. The really strategy is staying alive for as long as possible by reading the bosses moves and dodging them. Make use of your Shield (hold L or R button on a GameCube Controller), Side-Step (L or R and tap down on the control stick), and Roll (L or R and tap left or right on the control stick) abilities and counter moves that some characters have (typically the Down Special (B Button)). If you haven't made use of these moves before, with some practice, you will be able to defeat both of these bosses without getting hit.

A lot of players will say that Master and Crazy Hand are the easier bosses in the game in a Boss Rush mode.

Every locked character have multiple ways of being unlocked.
And every character can be unlocked by meeting them in the Adventure Mode.
However, Wolf, Toon Link, and Jiddlypuff are special in this area.
After beating the Adventure Mode, three doors will appear in three specific levels. Finding and entering these doors will trigger a small cutscene with on of these characters, and then you will have to defeat them in order to unlock them. They are a little tougher than normal. I can't remember what levels the doors appear in...

Of course, that is one way to unlock them, but I do not know of the other ways.

baltoluv wrote:

I'm not too sure how to answer this since teams battles are nothing. Just brawl and make use of the dodge abilities I described before.

baltoluv wrote:

That's not enough information. I'm going to assume you're talking about the maze at the end of the game. You have to go through the maze and defeat the bosses that are hidden in the doors. While there is a map at some safe areas, you may want to pull a map from the internet to help you.

baltoluv wrote:

Like the other characters, Sonic can be unlocked in different ways. The most popular way, and the only way I did it, is to beat the Adventure Mode. As soon as you beat it, you have him.

Yes. Beat the Adventure Mode.

Thank you for the info Rusty. However, I heard from a friend you use 10 original characters in classic THEN you get sonic.

The last boss (which is Porky, or Pork-Snort as I call him) I have defeated. Thereafter, all the Bowser heads (boss indicators) are gone and youre left back at the beginning.

Ive stopped working on adventure mode because I really have nothing else to do on there, so Im working on classic.

And he's also right.
I've done a little more digging. Like I said, there are other ways of unlocking characters.

For Sonic, you've got three options:
1) Play300 Brawl Matches
2) Have him join your team in SSE (which is at the end)
3) Beat Classic Mode with 10 characters

Well, if you've cleared all of the bosses in the Subspace Maze, then you've just got to go to a small room with a big gate-like object in the background. The room is in the center of the maze. Press up and start the final boss fight.

It's room 38.

Heres something to add that is ideally important:

How do I defeat Tabuu?

Tabuu is the last biggie youll see in SSE. His butterfly move, or when he expands his wings, is clearly unavoidable. You will have a instant KO, so fast it would be in the blink of an eye. Items do help, but unlike the previous bosses, they only cause minimal damage.

Ah, but that move is indeed avoidable.

You have to timely use your 'Side-step Dodge' (Shield Button+tap down on the control stick) to avoid the three thin waves he makes with his wings.
To make it easier to time: don't stand under him in the center. Instead, stand near the left or right edge. That will give you a little more time to see the lines and make timing them much easier when they get close to your character.
All characters are able to pull the move off. But it may be easier to use a smaller character.

Note that this move is an instant kill in the Adventure Mode. It's is not an instant kill more in Boss Battle Mode.

Also, make sure when doing so to actually go TOWARDS the center. By the time you get to the third wave, you will be out of room on the stage and the character will stop by default. Thank you for your contributions Mr.Rusty as we continue to expand the guide. Now:

What about the golden cage that Tabuu transforms himself into? What would be the most intelligent way to avoid this, since I often get KOed from that.

And how do you best avoid the rest of his moves? Does he mimic any moves from the characters, like Donkey Kong or Samus?

No. Using the Side-step Dodge does not move your character. Therefore, you can't possibly run out of room at any point. Just stand still and wait for the lines to come at you.

0:53 in this How to Play video shows you how it looks like.

Using the side-step dodge is a lot easier to use against this move than Dodge Rolling. Now, it is possible to use the Dodge Roll without getting hit, but Side-stepping is still way easier.

As to the other moves, I don't really remember. It's been so long since I've last played against Tabuu.
But dodging most of the attacks is based on reading the 'sings' that he does that indicate what attack he'll do next and moving your character accordingly. This act is called "Reading" the opponent, and it is one of the most important skills you can develop playing Brawl. It works against computers and other players.
Though, players and more difficult to read than computers, naturally.

I finally overtook Tabuu, but now what do I exactly have to do:

Fight Wolf, Toon Link, and Jigglypuff

Would I be just entering "The Great Maze" and going to the Ruins, Swamp, and Forest courses or what?

No. You will have to actually go to those levels from the world map. To the real levels

Now, there will be three new doors that you have to find.

The only one I remember exactly is the Ruins door. There is one point there you'll be falling down a long shaft (I think there were crystals in the background). The door is in mid air at some point during the fall.

Well its good to know that I unlocked Jigglypuff this morning by mastering the events. Will these doors look different? (Like golden)

And on one event where you are to put your opponents into eggs, how would you exactly conquer that? That and the event with Pikmin blooming.

I think I can help you with few questions.

baltoluv wrote:

If with the first one you mean the Sleeping in the Eggs event, where you play as Yoshi, I think I have the solution.
In that event, you simply have to put Pikachu and Kirby in eggs, but just so the both are in eggs at the same time. C:

And for the Pikmin one, you just have to battle and guard your dear little followers, aka Pikmins, until they bloom. So just guard them and don't die.

Lets talk about teams. Team battles in SSB Brawl can be just a nightmare if you dont know what the sweet spot to them are. They are generally harder here than in Melee. Each character (or almost every one) has a powerful move that can blow the team out of the dust.

Yoshi >> Ground Pound
Pikachu >> Thundershock
Kirby >> Rock
Mario >> Grab, Super Jump Punch
Link >> Spin Attack
Peach >> Peach Bomber
Bowser >> Bowser Bomb
Wario >> Corkscrew, Wario Waft
Donkey Kong >> Giant Punch
Diddy Kong >> Monkey Flip
King Dedede >> Jet Hammer, Super Dedede Jump

Not every character is listed here but you get the idea. The final smash is a instant KOer. This applies to all of em. Keep in mind results may vary depending on the course and character. Its a start to conquering classic 100%!

Oh, this seems interesting!~

I can agree with you about all of those.
But, I'm still gonna add some.

~Charizard's Rock Smash
~Ike's Eruption

Yes, those will most DEFINATELY work. However, Capt. Falcons final smash requires great timing. A lethal shot requires good skill and timing, although many final smashs are unavoidable to the oppodent (take Links for example)
