In case none of you knew, its Linkin Parks newest release.

I have to say it isnt their best, that Minutes To Midnight and Hybrid Theory are much better. Many of the songs here are not really songs. A couple of them are.

Robot Boys got a good melody to it. Chesters voice was great.

Well, you can't expect a band to write the same music over and over. People would lose interest in them. No, i like their new direction in their music. I know alot of people like their old stuff like 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora' and don't care for their new stuff but i like it. They experiment and try new things. That's the think i like about Linkin Park the most.

I agree, Chester's voice just get's better and better with each CD they release. I hated how long the wait between 'Meteora' and 'Minutes to Midnight' was. I actually wondered if the band had broken up. From what i read, they took a break to refine their music and try new things. Like Mike Shinoda's project when he did 'Remember the Name'
I think i heard they wrote over 100 songs during that time.

Personally my favorite track on their new CD was 'Blackout' just the beat to that song.... so awesome... Hidden text : click to show

Idk, when I picked it up a couple weeks ago, and listened to it, personally I was disappointed (actually thought about taking it back) until I let it run to Robot Boy, then I gained interest. Its like they have a rap mix in this CD.

I picked up the unedited version.

Its not Robot Boy actually, its When They Come For Me.

And Blackout is my number one fav on this album. I listen to it again n again. Its nice that they honor Mr. King Jrs memory with Wisdom, Justice, and Love.

I think it's good for an artist to experiment with new forms and ideas. I may not enjoy the new sound of most of the songs, but that's mostly personal taste, not dissatisfaction with their work. If there is one song on this album that I can get enthusiastic about, it's "When They Come For Me". The chorus in the background is hauntingly wonderful.
