Now, I have played every Smash Bros game since the first one in 1999, but the third addition is warped.
I dont know about some of you, but game of the year 2009, yeah right. How that could ever happen, it mustve been rewarded by Nintendo. I have tried for days and I have not gotten past classic for at least three characters. MasterHand is really impossible to nail to the ground, hes constantly moving at a insane pace and I am not talking about CrazyHand either. And that you can only get to 72% on the adventure, nowhere further they mustve gotten tired of working on the game, cause` theres no where to go after that. Im skeptical to believe they will develop a good forth for the Wii 2.0, like thatll do any better.
For those who dont yet own this game, do not buy it. They shouldve stopped at Melee.

On contare, I think you're on a small side (figure of speech).
I understand Super Smash Brothers Brawl is a quirky fighting game that doesn't appeal to everyone, despise how huge it's international following is.
But here's got to be a reason why reviewers (9, that I've counted) all didn't give the game less than a 9/10 score. And as far as I know, the games wasn't awarded 2009 Game of the Year (the game was released in 2008, and also didn't get 2008 Game of the Year). It was however awarded Best Fighting Game by GameSpot.
I do own the game and have a logged countless hours on it within the two years with friends, and I believe it is a major step up from the 2001 mastiff, Super Smash Brothers Melee. The game isn't all that hard, unless you play in one of the challenge modes or set the difficulty setting to "Insane."
But like I said, no number of game design elements can force you to enjoy it. But, to be honest, if a new player were to try the game for the first time, chances are they will like it.
And to those who are still on the fence, I'd suggest going out and renting it, or there's a very good chance a friend has a copy...base your decision based on your experiences.

^This. I've played the game a lot so I know what I'm talking about; and no offense but your dislike of the game seems to come from just not being very good at it(can't beat master hand who is one of the easier bosses). I'd recommend to any wii owners to buy SSBB if they don't already have it because it's one of the few non-shovelware titles on the system.
