Alright, I'm a HUGE kaiju (giant monster) fan, as if my name didn't give that away, so I had an idea based around that premise. It's partly inspired by
Gorgo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorgo_(film) and
Gappa, the Triphibian Monster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gappa Anyway, here's the idea.
- In the openning scene, Molly is seen talking to something in a cave near CS, the being she's talking too is underwater but responds to her speech and apparently enjoys her company.
- Another creature's call it heard and the one she's talking to seems to whine, Molly hears Rebecca calling for her and says something like 'my momma is calling me too' or something to that effect and bids goodbye to her friend.
- Cut to a meeting between Khan and an amusement park owner. Khan states he's funding the park because it had promise, which it hasn't lived up to, and is considering withdrawling funding unless the park begins to make a profit.
- The owner replies that he's 'onto something big' and that he needs a little more time, which Khan impatiantly gives with a warning he better live up to his word.
- Baloo and Rebecca have to go to a meeting (events in the second pilot make this make sense) and Kit and Molly have to stay home. While the two play, Molly invites Kit to come see her friend with her, Kit agrees and Molly leads him to the cave.
- Along the way, the Amusement Park owner and some thugs follow them, the circus owner commenting that the girl is his lead or something to that effect.
- Molly takes Kit into the cave and introduces her friend, a large semi-aquatic reptile. She says he's friendly but be careful not to hurt him, his parents are very protective (likely drawing refrence to her own mother).
- As they play, the Owner and his thugs rush the cave, weapons drawn. The creature tries protecting its friends but is swiftly captured, the Owner giving Molly some candy as 'payment for her help' before leaving, making Molly feel guilty.
- Molly and Kit try to tell Baloo and Rebecca what's going on and have trouble convincing them until the creature is shown on a TV aid to be on display in the amusement park (on an island near CS).
- Baloo, Rebecca, and Wildcat take the kids there are try to get the owner to see reason but he merely claims the creature is an animal, and he's treating it humainly, so thus, it's his property and there's nothing they can do about.
- After the owner leaves confedient in himself, Molly reveals that the creature is just a baby and needs its parents. At this point Kit gets worried, when asked why, he recalls Molly's statement earlier that the creature's parents are very protective of it, and if the already very large creature is a baby, it's parents must be huge.
- Sure enough, the baby's gigantic parents arrive and begin to attack the amusement park attempting to get their child back.
- The owner calls Khan's airforce for assistance (due to Khan having a heavy claim in the park) and they arrive to try and fight off the parents.
- Realizing that the parents could be seriously hurt or worse, and knowing she'd do the same for Molly, Rebecca has Baloo and Kit use the Sea Duck to try and fend off the planes and protect the parents while she, Molly, and Wildcat try to free the infant.
- As they do, an angry owner holds Molly hostage, saying he's not giving up his meal ticket without a fight. The infant manages to free Molly, despite its confinement, and Rebecca, an angry parent in her own right at the moment, gives him a 'talking too'.
- Baloo is contacted by Khan, who is angry at Baloo for interfering in his business, but Baloo reveals the smaller creature is a baby and the adults are merely its parents trying to get their child back. Khan realizes the error made and calls off his planes (it's been mentioned that Khan, while not the best guy, does have morals, I don't think allowing his planes to kill parents just trying to save their baby would sit right with him).
- Cut back to Rebecca and the owner, the owner now shaking and locked in a cage, Molly and Wildcat both impressed at the 'mother bear'. They free the child and return him to his parents, who are both grateful. However, Baloo realizes if they stay near CS this could happen again, so, after Molly and Kit bid the infant farewell, Baloo leads the family of kaiju out to sea to somewhere remote they could be safe.
So, what do you think? If you don't like Khan as the 'benefactor' I could see a criminal connection instead for the owner, like the mob or something.
