I cant help but wonder how Charlie and Itchy got associated in the first place? The movies have never really referenced how Charlie met Itchy or how Itchy met Charlie. Maybe it was part of the original script but got rid of it when the idea of AnneMarie came around, its quite a mystery.

What do you guys think?

There is actually an episdoe in the series I think that tells how he met Itchy, but I'll have to check to see which one.

Yeah Right here When Hairy Met Silly but there is an issue that the writers may have forgot to taken into consideration, that is the original ADGTH was in New Orlands.. Not San Fransisco.. Like the second movie shows. In addition. it was much earlier in time then this episode shows it. ADGTH was in1939 Louisiana Bayou So.. I mean.. Dude.. too much time difference XDDD

I have always been tempted to write a story for a more proper version but I figured it wouldn't matter. XP

oh no, I hope it doesn't indicate they met the day before the 2nd movie or the series happened..

that was the issue of when Abu and Aladdin met in one of the eps of the T.V series.. it seemed like the day before the movie happened they met.. I thought they'd at least been together a few priors before meeting Genie and Jasmine :p

Well.. other then the misfacts.. I still think they could have even turned this .. certain mishap around if only the settings were right.. The buildings were too 19th century.. Other wise they could have done a little adjustments here and there. Saying they MET in San Fransisco but Escaped to Louisiana Bayou for certain reasons [failure in casino or just escape from the cops which actually sets up why he was put in jail in the 1st place] and set up a business there after meeting Carface. Thats highly likely since in the first movie even Itchy suggested to move to Tibet "To bet" So them moving around to different places is common.

I'm a little divided on whether the episode "When Hairy met Silly" is how Charlie and Itchy met. There some errors in it which caused me to think it was a story that Charlie and Itchy threw together to get the 2 pups to work together, but since it's the only reference we have I guess I'll just have to go with it

yeah it was in the episode when hairy met silly. i had an ok feeling about that episode. i also wanted to know how they first met. when i watched the episode for the first time i thought "oh so that's how met"

There is an episode in the series that reveals that...not that I know what it is. Sorry.
