With the warm July breeze blowing through her fur, the young wolf hybrid walked down the back streets of Nome, heading for the forest. The forest was her home, she lived in a small cave on the side of a mountain. As she aprouched her cave, she heard a noise comeing from the bushes. At first, she ignored it, then it got closer. The hair on her back stood high. Then, she heard another sound, but it sounded like laughter.

"Who..Who's there?" She asked, slightly puzzled.

The bushes fell silent. Suddenly a mass of golden and white fur jumped into vision knocking the hybrid over. One eye brown, one green with black fur on his head, and markings simalar to another wolf, Zasha, who lived near by. "Ahaha!" He said. "I got you, Kevoku!" He barked. He shook his fur, making his 'bangs' do alittle swish to the side. He looked crosseyed up at them, and tried to swing them back into place.

"Youkon!" The hybrid, Kevoku, gasped. She kicked him off and nuzzled him. He chuckled, and returned the favor. She smlied and the two walked into the front of the cave, and lied down next to each other, still able to be warmed by the sun's heat. "What are you doing here, anyway? I did't think you'd be here until-" She paused for a moment, looking up at the sun, wich was still quite high. "Later.. tonight.." She finished, still looking at the sun.

"Well yeah, but then I couldn't suprise you, could I?" He laughted, swishing his tail. He through back his head and let out a short howl. Not only was Kevoku his girl, she was his best friend, they'd know eachother sense they were pups, which Youkon got an ear full of taunts from his siblings, and was sure Kevoku had too. Youkon had started to spend more time with her than his friends. His life was going perfect. "So, how's your day been?" He asked her.

Kevoku giggled at his 'fake' howl. She loved that he wanted to suprise her, it made her heart skip. She was in a daze when Youkon spoke to her again. "Oh-Oh, It was well. I saw mom and dad. And I saw some friends, but nothing really special." She shrugged her sholders. "And what about you, Mr. Suprises?" She chuckled, slighy pushing him with her muzzle.
