There is an option when you post that says close tags.
What is that?

Internet Protocol? That is your gateway from the Internet to your computer. You need it to connect to any site- and IP is read when logging into a site or viewing a web page...

BBcode is the little indicators that you put in front and behind text you want to modify.

For example: Word was created with a "[b-" (without quotes, but replace that '-' with a ']'), then enter "word" (without quotes) and then add "[/b]" at the end of "word" (again, without quotes)

This also works for things like URL links and Images "[IMG]", etc.

1st edit: had to change the BBcode. oops.

2nd: Fixed grammar

Yeah...... about BBCode. I know how to type it in almost any form, but I can't figure out what [list] is. My thoughts are that it's just what it says: a list. But please clarify it for me.[/quote]

I know little of lists, but I know there are two types: the ordered and unordered.

Unordered lists are the easiest to make, and include simple bullets. For example:

---A short example:
  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3
  • etc.

An ordered list is exactly the same as an unordered, but you can add numbers and letters instead of bullet dots. For example:

---Another short example:
  1. A
  2. B
  3. C
  4. etc.

OR

---Another-another short example:
  1. One
  2. Two
  3. etc.

Other than that, I don't know much more.

As in HTML, UL and OL lists, right? If so, thanks, that clears up a lot for me (oh cool, the stars replace LI)
