Well, I came up with this idea after watching Danny Phantom, my favorite show of all time.

Plot:

Half humans all alike, think they are the only ones of their kind. Seth, a half ghost, half human, kid was experimented on and just barely managed to escape. Little does he know, though, that there are many others just like him. When there paths collide, it's like a flashing light to the scientists who once had them in their clutches, and have forever changed their DNA. Now, they need to flee from these evil people, and eventually, have to fight them to regain their freedom. Will they be able to escape once more, or be changed even further?

History (optional): Was living a normal life until he was captured by the scientists and experimented on. He barely managed to escape alive and has tried to live a normal life as much as possible, but the past keeps trying to smack him in the face. He is now stuck at age 15 and there's no way to escape that fact.

Other Half: Lupine, a black wolf
Personality: She is independent and loyal to the few friends she has. She hates situations where its all mushy or emotional, and is brave. She prefers to let others talk, get to know them before speaking herself. It isn't that she is goth, or punk, she's just had a tragic history which someimes still haunts her. She has an easily riled temper, and is rebellious and stubborn, but will concede others points if they make sense. She is surprisingly talkative, considering her first impression.
History: Rue was walking after her parents died in a fire, and her sister was following her, and Rue didn't know. She found out and started yelling at her, still filled with grief because of her parents. She stopped as a black wolf leapt out of an alley, and attacked. Rue was frozen and fear, and couldn't do anything to save he sister, only watching as she was killed. When it turned on Rue, it bit her, but she managed to run before it could kill her too. It bit her on her forearm, and she still has the scar, it runs all the way down to her hand. After she ran, she kept running, leaving behind her old life. She was afraid of coming back, and didn't want to see her sister's corpse again. It was that night that the scientists kidnapped her. SHe woke up to the horror of being in a labratory, but that wasn't the worst; she was the same creature that had killed her sister. SHe eventually escaped, and learned to live with it, moving around so they wouldn't find her again.
Crush: Maybe Seth later on, but I'm not sure.

Human Appearence: I couldn't find a pic, so here is a physical description. Rue has violet eyes, dark violet, close to black, but you can still see the purple. She is close to normal skintone, but maybe a bit darker, but not brown. She has shoulder length literal jet black hair that is always in her face.
Other Appearence (optional): She is well, a normal black wolf with a bit smaller stature and she still has the violet eyes.

History: A very young leader of a pack of dragons in a different dimension on a different planet until he saw a strange glow and something grabbed him and pulled him into the glow. He was knocked out in the process and when he woke up he was in a lab being experimented on. He escaped but the side-effects of the experimentation left him as a living skeleton of a dragon, not alive but not dead either.

Extra: Has a tail even in human form
Human Appearence: silver, shoulder-length hair, tan skin, athletic build

Other: Imagine some small horns beneath the cloak's hood and some demon-y/dragon-like black wings and you'll have her demon form. In human form, she has a different tattoo than the one shown in the picture. It is a caduceus. She has large angel wings tattooed onto her back/shoulder blades, much like this.

Personality: Shy at first, but compassionate. If you annoy him, he'll spit fire for longer then a dragon (figuratively, of course)
History: Born on another planet (like Jake), he was a crossbreed because of a magic pool of water called a love spring (think love potion--harry potter--on steroids) and left because he was an outcast.
Crush: None
Extra: Is always in, more or less, the same form
Human Appearence: Human, but with wings scaled up to size
Other Appearence (optional): Dove, but with a human body scaled down to size.

Personality: Very sweet when you know her but if you don't she can come off as mean, and not very open. If your her friend she is though.
History (optional): Her parents thought she was a freak when they saw her tail when she was younger. They gave her to an orphanage, and a cruel family adopted her. It seems like they didn't even want a kid yet they adopted her. She was adopted at the age of five, and has lived with that same family ever since. That is why she can be come off as mean, because she is always in a bad mood, and doesn't have a good life and is mad and jealous of anybody who does. She still lives with the same family but they don't care about her so she is often never home or out very late no matter what the night. She works jobs to get money. Sometimes they give her money, they make her food too. She thought it could be worse, but it was still pretty horrible.

Extra: When he is in human form, he still has big, red hawk wings, but he hides them underneath a sweatshirt or something. When his shirt is off, you can see his wings clear as day, so he doesn't swim.
Human Appearance: Brown hair (short, like Taylor Lautner short), blue eyes, tan skin, muscular.
Other Appearence (optional): He's a huge hawk, HUGE I'm talking like as big as a siberian husky. His feathers are red and brown, with white on the tips of his wings.

Name: Dagg (his real name is Michael, but he hates being called that. So he changed it to a shortened version of his last name (Daggman) and called himself Dagg.)

Age: 26
Other Half: Python
Personality: Frightening, sly, uncaring and unforgiving.
History: When he was a baby, about five months old, his parents found out he was a Half. They just came home one day and found him in his python form trying to swallow his bottle whole. They didn't know what to do and were both scared for all their lives, so they gave him to an orphanage. He grew up in the orphanage until he was about 17, and he was able to control his other half. But then, one day, some new orphan came and became his roommate. The new kid was really mean and tried his best to make Dagg miserable. When Dagg came back to his room one day, all his books had the pages torn out of them, all his clothes were ripped and burned, and all his school supplies were broken too. He completely lost it and turned into his gigantic snake form and killed his roommate. The police arrested him, but he easily escaped by sliding through the bars in his window in his snake form. Dagg made a new goal: to kill anyone who gets in the way of him eliminating all humans. He has been bitter ever since, and will destroy anyone in his way.
Crush: He does not know love.
Extra: He still has incredibly long and venomous fangs, like that of a snake's.
Human Appearance: Tall and skinny, with jet black hair and strange, purple eyes.
Python appearance: He's just a HUGE snake, where his first half of his python body would be as tall as his human form.

Taylor walked along the sidewalk, wishing he could go anywhere but school. "Ugh.." He sighed. As much as he hated to admit it, though, school was the only entertainment he had. He'd had to leave his parents because of the scientists he's been evading for so long. All they wanted was to get their hands back on all the half-humans they modified. And as far as he knew, that was only him. He thought he was the only one of his kind. So, needless to say, he wasn't intent on letting them get what they want.

Soon he was finally at school. As he went into homeroom, he threw his backpack next to his desk, sitting down a bit bored.

Rue's violet eyes betrayed her clam demeanor; they flitted back and forth, warily glancing at everyone who walked too close to her. A small sigh escaped her, and she forced herself to relax. Years of hiding and running had given her paranoia, which could be slightly overwhelming at times. This, apparently, was one of them. It wasn't entirely due to this though. It was her first day at this new school, a fact that had always made her nervous in the past. It was made only worse by the constant fear she had.

The lupine/human mix breathed another sigh, this one of relief, as her homeroom came into view. She sat down next to a boy around her age, who sat with a look of disgust and boredom on his rather handsome face. Brushing away that thought, she brushed a few strands of dark hair away from her face, and risked a small smile in his direction. "I'm Rue," she greeted, her voice husky and soft.

Taylor saw the new face come through the door and sat down next to him. He couldn't help but notice she was prettier than all the other girls in this school, but that wasn't his main focus at the moment. For some, odd reason, although he never usually talked to strangers, he felt drawn to this student. "Hey there. I'm Taylor." He managed a slight smile.
