I have lost all faith in NBC. They brought the amazing and hilarious show 'My Name is Earl' into my life and at the peak of it's popularity, cancelled the show. I was very dissapointed but... I still had Heroes to look forward to. Well, as i recently found out after waiting months and months on pins and needles for Heroes: Season 5 to premiere, the show has been canceled.
How can good shows like these get trashed while other crappy shows such as 'The Office' continue going? Heroes was one of NBC's most popular shows and it still got shafted. Sometimes the world just makes no sense at all....

Maybe. Im not really sure if that's even the reason. Lost went on for years and years and i think the show actually finished. I never watched it but, from what i understand, the show didn't make sense at all. Apparently some people like to be confused too.
I thought Heroes was easy to follow. With the way they introduced the characters and such, it wasn't hard at all to follow the story. I haven't yet seen a villain more twisted and evil than Sylar.
If you're looking for a mindless show, My Name is Earl is right about at the same level as The Office. Everything was a joke and the best part of the show was seeing another thing on his list crossed off at the end of each episode.
That's what i hate about that show being canceled. Earl never got to finish his list. Im just waiting to hear that The Biggest Loser is being canceled now.

Well, I mean, it's pretty simple - they were coming out with a new series called No Ordinary Family (another one about super heroes and villains, but as a family). Heroes probably just wasn't getting the ratings they wanted/expected it to get, so they canned it. This new show probably won't either, since I watched it myself recently and wasn't very impressed. Right now they're mainly advertising The Event, which though interesting so far, will probably end up also taking a ratings dip and get canceled. FOX did much the same thing with their newest series Lonestar (it was about a con man; go figure). After only two episodes and a huge amount of advertising, they canceled it because people just weren't watching (and how could you with a title like that! Given it was moderately interesting, but come on...). So instead, they started Lie To Me earlier in the season than normal.

well, unlike some people, I like 'The Office'. BUT, of course, this is its' last season. I got pretty mad when 'My Name Is Earl' got cut, and even though I've never seen 'Heroes', I hear lots of good things about it from my friends, my mom's friends, etc etc. They still have good shows like 30ROCK, but they made new, COMPLETELY unoriginal shows like 'Rizzoli and Isles', 'Covert Affairs', and stuff like that. Those are all the same thing.

I dunno, it didn't have as much going for it at the beginning like Heroes did. But it's getting better i think. Only been two episodes so far and it looks like it'll be good. But it deffinatly wont touch how good Heroes was. I don't watch alot of TV so i miss alot of shows. I usually only watch a show if my friends are watching it too. Sucks to watch a show and have no one to discuss it with. These days though only time im making sure im in front of a TV is from Tuesdays at 8pm( No Ordinary Family) and Sundays at 12:30( Metalocalypse)
