Plot: A group of kids who want nothing more than to explore the woods suddenly get caught up in a huge mess... Not long after entering the forest, they stumble upon a small pack of wolves. At first, due to the wolves' scary appearences and reputations, they are scared to death. But after a while, they learn to trust the canines. And after that trust is established, the wolves give the incredible gift of shapeshifting to the humans. But this comes at a high cost. Not long after the humans learn the basics of being a wolf, they are threatened when hunters come and capture them. And when they are delivered to some scientists and the lab workers find out that their DNA is still human when they are wolves at the moment, will the wolf pack be able to save them in time? Or will the shapeshifters have to submit to all the pain and suffering?

Chase literally ran out of school, almost jumping out of his skin, not being able to wait till he went to the woods with his friends. After all, it was summer! He had very good reason to be excited. As soon as he got home, he dropped off his backpack, grabbed a Coca-Cola, and slid out the door once more, heading straight to his two friends' houses.

Jamie came out of her class, laughing and joking with some friends. She ran to her locker, and got all the pictures and things she had in them. One by one taking off pictures of her and her friends having the best times. Each one made her smile. Then she stuffed them in her bookbag in a hurry and closed to door to the lock. She ran out and went to her house, expecting Chase. She opened the door and smiled at the maids that were cleaning up Hola! Como estas? (hello, how are you) They smiled at her Muy bein gracias, y used?(very good, thank you. And yourself? She had an open smile Muy bein!(very good!) She ran up to her room, and dumped everything from her locker onto her bed. She started to put the pictures up on her wall. Then her door opened, and her older sister Katherine came in with her fancy cloth and pink sunglasses. She had her hair done perfectly. She looked at her sister with belittleing eyes. Honestly Jamie. Do you know how to be a GIRL? Jamie smiled sarcastically. What do you mean?Her sister looked at Jamies hair Your hair.. do something with it. then she walked away, not being pleased on her sisters lack of reaction. Jamie looked in the mirror, she played with her hair a bit. I like it.. she said lowly. Only to be stunned by her mothers image in the mirror. Jamie will you friend be joining us today? Jamie turned around and scrathced her head. She jumped on her bed and picked up a football, starting to play with it. Which friend? Jamie said like if her mother should of specified. The cute one, the one that your sister likes.. Jamie sat up KAT LIKES CHACE? Or BEN? Her mother smiled and nooded her head, like she just remembered something. Ah yes, that one, Chace. Such a cute young man. Then she sighed well pick up here dear. And please, be nice to your sister while i'm gone. Jamie sighed alright whatever. Then she got hot pink hair dye, and died a couple strans of it, and knocked on her sisters door. Hey Kat, i changed my hair a bit. Wanna see? i think its more girly All you heard was an excited shreak comming from her sisters room she opened the door and looked at her sisters hair that look TERRIBLE! your IMPOSSIBLE she shut the door. Then, Jamie laughed at her sisters reaction and went back to her room. She picked up her phone and began to text Chace. Are you coming over, i have the funniest thing to tell you.

Chase drank his coke while running towards Jamie's house. As he was halfway there, he stopped when he got a text. Luckily, there was a concrete fence to his left, so he set the can down there and grabbed his vibrating phone out of his jean pocket. He flipped it open and saw the text message from Jamie. He chuckled to himself as he read the words on the screen. He texted back,'I'm halfway there, you can tell me when I get there'. After that, he drank the rest of the coke, chugging it down like milk in those stupid commercials, then proceeded to stomping on it to make it flat, and throwing it in a garbage nearby. He threw it from a distance just for fun and it just so happened to go in. Figures, since he played basketball. He put his phone back in his pocket and about twenty minutes later arrived at Jamie's place, not even bothering to knock, but just barging in. They were friends after all. She shouldn't mind if he just walked through the door. Since he knew where her room was, he went over there, actually knocking lightly this time, just to make sure he could go incase she was changing or something else like that. "Guess who?" he asked slyly with a grin.

Jamie smiled and put on her best 'popular voice' Omg! is it the cutest boy in school! she laughed, because it was a joke between them. Hey Chace! come-on in. She put the pink section of her hair very noticeable. She sat up, hoping he'd comment on her new hair.

Chase laughed at their inside joke being mentioned. "Hey, nice hair." He grinned. "It's new...." he paused, making it seem as if he was dissapointed. "I like it," he said, grinning again. You could clearly see it had been a joke now. "Hey! Tell me what you were gonna say on the text on the way! We gotta go pick up Ben, remember?"

She giggled thanks, and take a seat, i hate people having to stand up. Then she got up and closed her door, making sure her sister couldn't hear. You know my sister? She likes you!! and so does my mom! She laughed, in between laughs she said and the best part, she said i should date you! Thats when she turned over on her back on her bed, laughing like crazy. I mean, isnt that CRAZY!

Chase began laughing up storm. "Hah! That's hilarious!" After a few minutes of non-stop laughter, he opened the door. "We should go before Ben gets impatient," he said through laughs.

Jamie, still laughing a bit, smile and stood up. ok, sure, let me just get one quick thing. she went to her closet and pick out her favorite jacket, it matched her shirt, skinny jeans, and hershoes. Then she grabbed her water bottle and put on her hoodie. Alright, lets go.. She walked out her room, and turned off the light. When outside, she yelled to her sister Im going out! I'll be back when i want to! then she headed to the stares. Sliding down the railing like she always did, with a smile, and jumped when she got near the end. She was not in the front of her house, and she opened the big door, as she walked out she got her keys. Adios!(goodbye)she yelled to the maids. Then she stepped out, enjoying the sunlight. She took a deep breath. mm, awesome day!. She jumped down the three marble steps and headed out.

Jamie looked back. oh wait, are we going to hit the beach today? She put her hand over her eyes, the sun was blinding.
