Here's a pretty simple topic. Pretty much just list the country(s) that your family originates from. It can be that you still live in the country but knowing most of the people who are on AS are Americans they are all pretty much mutts, I think it'll be pretty interesting to see where others family origins go back to.

And yes it could be I live in France and my whole family goes back in France.

I know for a fact that I'm mostly Russian probably 75% of my family originates from Russia and I know I'm Polish as well for a fact. And there's a possibility that some of my family is from Belarus too. While I know my mom is either German or Austrian just based on her maiden last name being as German/Austrian as you can find.

Okay, I know most of my Russian side are pretty much all fugitives that had to escape Russia because they were pretty much put on death row from what I can gather from my grandparents on both my mom's and dad's side of the family. And my mom isn't sure but she thinks that one of her grandmothers is from what is known as today as Belarus but at the time was Russia or changed from day to day based on the wars and stuff going on in eastern Europe.

And I know I'm Polish, well cause my last name is Polish. That is pretty much as far as Poland goes in my family my great grandfather grew up in a tiny town on the border of Poland and Belarus. The town of Zambrow Poland, really small farming town. Then around 1900 he came to America and opened a small grocery store and it took off from there.

While I know my mom's mom is all Russian. While her dad's side I don't know much about. Never met him. I only know my step grandfather but I always considered him my grandpa even though there is no blood connection. And the only hint I have that my mom is German or Austrian is the name Schwartzberg. Pretty German/Austrian if you ask me.

Well that is a brief history of my family.

well my family is "American" but like you said we are all mostly mutts. Most of my family is from Europe. mostly germany italy greece some hungary and romania but i also have some native american in me. Tu est?

I'm 75% Estonian & 25% Finnish.

My mother is full Estonian, and my father is half-estonian, and half-finnish. :3
and I know that my father has some Russian blood in him but meh.

I'm 90% Lithuanian and maybe 10% Belarussian . Belarussian blood is from one (or some) of my great great great grandparents xD

Well, my family had been in Italy for a very long time but when me and my dad tried to find out something about our origins, well, we discovered many interesting things.

Dad's family.
My father's ancestors were originally from Persia, they've always lived there but after some generations, they moved to Egypt, from they, they sialed a ship and arrived in south Italy, where they stayed 'till 1800, after that, they moved to Rome and then to the north of Italy, where we live.

Mom's family.
My mother's ancestors were always from Europe, they had always been close to Italy, infact they were in France and Germany but then, moved to Austria and finally to the north of Italy.

so, yeah, I'm mostly italian xD

My mother's side is roughly 95% English, with slight Danish Jew in me. From my father's side I have a lot of Scottish and Irish, as well as English.

So I would say that I am roughly 60-65% English when based on my family, and of course, I live in England.

I'm not exactly sure of my roots, but I've been told I'm German, possibly Dutch. That being from my father's side. My mother's side I believe is from England. What I do know is that I'm 5% Chippewa Indian. That isn't much. lol

Otherwise I'm American. (USA)

With the background history I know of, I am:
-100% American (Born in America, long line of ancestors from America)
-Part German
-Part Italian
-Part Scottish
-Part Dutch
-Part Italian
-Part Austrian
-Part English

As for percentages of those "parts", I do not know of.

American (White, USA) So I guess 50,50, I don't know too much about my family history though, just what I've said before.

50% British, 25% German, 25% Irish.
So I guess I'm always at war with myself.

33.3 percent British.

33.3 percent Portuguese.

33.3 percent American.

Now you just need is to divide the British into 25% English and 25% Scottish and you're perfect! XDDD

A quarted Scottish, An eighth welsh and the rest English (I'm no good at percentages xD)

And yah, I live in England. Though I was born in Scotland.

My mom's side is pure Irish. (from the southern part ^^)

Dad's side is German, Austrian, Polish, Lithuanian.. and possibly a bit Jewish but we're not really sure. I think that's it.

I'm not sure about the percentages, but I'm mostly Irish.
