Tatoos & hair?

I just can't get it with my mind.Why characters with piercings aren't allowed while the ones with hair and tatoos are? BOTH are unnatural! If piercing are consideres and "sparkledogish", tatoos should be too. I really can't get why people are being so nervous when I say that hair&tatoos shouldn't be allowed and they don't mind piercings being rejected.

Well i think Hair is fine. Bangs or Somesort, maybe not full hair like that link but Bangs or alittle bit of hair thats like normal fur just overgrown alittle. BUt i do think there shouldn't be piercings or Tattoos as both are VERY unnatural.. i wont mind on Anthro but since BS doesnt allow Anthros commonly. then they shouldnt allow it on normal wolves/dogs and the same for other sources and their species.

Agreed. I dont REALLY mind though for the Hair aslong it looks good. cause i know a few artists who are skilled at hair to look good on a normal animal. But anything thats like meh where its unnatural hair that goes over the head or piercings and tattoos shouldnt be on BS characters. on anything else is fine (DA or FA or whatnot)

Tattoos don't even make sense. It wouldn't appear crisp and clear on fur, it would look like a feathery blobby..... blob.

I don't think tattoos, hair, or piercings should be allowed on characters. In the context of Balto (just to use the most popular Source site) I don't think the people of Nome would be giving their dogs piercings and tattoos. And did scene even exist back then to give huskies heinous scene hair?

And more importantly, how would a wild wolf give a piercing or tattoo to itself with no thumbs?

Actually the only tatoo a dog would have would be in it's upper lip folds and on it's belly.
They are marked for identification xD. ( dogs from the shelter DO have them)
As for hair, I've never added that, maybe the fringe on the top, but not the long sideways bangs.
Now as for Peircings, ((yust ear piercings, not lip piercings ))
I'm a bit more personal about. One of my dogs has her ears pierced,
(Oh yush) and to me I like it xD, it's different and unique, but It's been overused on this site .
Other people will have other opinions about of of course.
On a dog, domesticated it would make more of a fitting sense then on a random wild animal xD

You forgot ears, XD. Dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic pets or in some cases livestock also get tattoos on the inside of their ears for identification, since usually there is less fur there and it is an easily accessible site.

Usually I see live stock and rabbits with the plastic clip on their ear

If you see these, just report them. It could be a mod missed them, or accidentally activated it if they were in a rush. Or maybe they didn't even see it as a tattoo right away.

I just hope it isn't the glitch, or some new one showing up.

Just thought I'd add that racing greyhounds and whippets also have tatoos inside their ears ^^ (Usually the tatoos include numbers and letters.)
