I know I know, 'OH GOSH! ZAPPY'S ON THE RANT BOARD! WHAT STUPID PROBLEM DOES SHE HAVE NOW' Well whatever, this is ticking me off, I try to stay away from here, but here we go:

Okay, this is fine, Character's not respection the rules, and I wanna fix it to get it back online, so I would reply:

'Okay, so which character is it'

AAnnnnd the mod says: I dunno. Maybe an odly one or something.

WHAT THE HECK

I WANT to know the character so I can fix it, I mean If I'm on Balto,LK,Lady and the Tramp, Sprirt, and lets say I have 30 on bs 5 on lk 7 on spirit and 10 on lady and the tramp. Thats OVER 50 characters, and what's so bad is that I have around 40 BS characters. I DO NOT want to go through every freaking character's profile to see which one it deactivated! Seriously?!?! Is it THAT hard to ADD THE CHARACTERS NAME IN THE PM And that's not all! About a week or two later I find the character but instead of 'Character is deactivated, reason why:' I get 'Character is deactivated, see a mod' I know that's the old version of what happend, but WHY do that, because I CANNOT re-send the page, I have to re-make the ENTIRE thing, not even knowing what was the problem in the first place! Can't ALL of them have a reason of deativation and a re-send button? I DO NOT get on Spirit source any longer because, most of my characters but like 3, are deactivated, and I can't re-send them. I GIVE UP.

Please somebody help.

I think the report system for characters needs some tweaking. :/
I always thought the automatic PM did say the name of the character in question.

To be honest, there are so many to go through that I never memorised any of the names of the characters.

I agree that the PM should say which character got deactivated. Seems like it would make more sense.

There is a thing mods can use for sending PM's, it does it without them having to leave the Mod Pannal and do that, so there should be no reason why these character mods won't do that.

Report this character mod who isn't doing their Job right to one of the admins of the site.

ALL messages I get are like this, it's not one spicific mod.

Report all of these mods then, they need to know their mistake.

I don't think it's the mods Question, I think it's the system used from the mod panel.

I have a feeling that using that system doesn't tell the member receiving the PM which character is concerned. I think it'd be a good idea to test it and see, which I'll be doing in the next few minutes.

No. The system from the mod panel does not tell the member which character it is or give a link to the character's page.

And one thing that gets me is, some of the reasons WHY my character was deactivated. I got one today, this is the reason why it was deactivated:



My character was one on L&TT source, her relation to them was that she lived in the junkyard, WITH BUSTER. sure, it COULD be a little more creative, but SHE KNOWS A CHARACTER FROM THE MOVIE. It doesn't say in the 'rules of making a character' that the relation has to be 'creative'

I made her a friend of Buster, but that didn't get her in. So, I had to edit it. Now, the character's profil is up now, but still, it's annoying.

That is crap in my opinion. =\ Who's to say what's creative and what isn't in how characters are related to ones from the movie? Especially when the rules say its ok for a character to be a simple friend of a character. >_> I would probably have just reported that mod and re-sent the character as according to the rules there was nothing wrong with what you had put.

Mmm. But yes, the whole character system could be tweaked to make it better, especially the report system.

Well, no, it wouldn't. Because that sounds like you only just realised it was LatT Source, so quickly came up with something to get her in. The thing is, while not everyone is capable of making a good character, everyone is capable of putting actual effort in.

But back on topic: the PM system does need to be changed, but it isn't the mods fault the system is set out like this. I hear Steet is on vacation, but when he gets back, I'm sure he'll fix it.

What I ment that in my original 'relation to L&TT', she was a friend of Buster, but that wasn't 'creative' enough, even though there is nothing in the rules about the relation the them being creative.

Anyway, it does the same thing with sending Images/Art. Does it say wich picture? No. Does it say wich source it's on? No. It's not just characters.

I've never had an image deactivated, but good point street! So it's not jsut my computer for sure now.

Now thinking back, I had a member PM me asking about their images, but I deal with too many to rememeber the exact one!

Maybe Steet can fix this once he's back from vacation. (To where it tells the member about which /fancreation/)

It isn't really much of a problem, because you should be able to see what images/drawings have been de-activated. It says so when you go to edit your gallery.

Sardonyx- Yeah, but Which site would be helpful, especialy if your active on all of them.
