Alright, I need to ask: Who else has traveled through the flume and read the books? I have for one. (Or else I wouldn't be creating this topic. Duh.) I have to say, I enjoyed the concept, and the books itself. I have just finished the last one, Book Ten. I loved it, as I have enjoyed the rest of the series. I would like to know your opinion. It doesn't have to match mine, nor do you have to have read all the books to reply. I would just like to hear it. His goes without saying but I'll make it clear: If you're saying something other people might know, such as the ending, warn us in the beginning of your post, or use the spoiler button. It was placed there for a reason. And no arguing. Come on, everyone has different opinions. I know it probably won't happen, but there's nothing wrong in taking a precaution and reminding you. Hobey-ho, let's go.

Sadly, I never read the book(s). I saw it, but it was too much for price range, however, I've heard good things about it. Maybe I should pick up a copy? xD

I have read the series myself and i loved every page of them. My only problem with the books was the ending was confusing. But otherwise, D.J. MacHale was very creative in the way he put together all the different worlds and characters. He really put Bobby in a dangerous world and the the ending of book 9 broke my heart!

I was like NOOO Mark and Courtney CAN'T DIE!! One thing i've been looking forward to ever since picking up the books is when the movie adaptations come out. D.J. MacHale is a director so he's likely to do it. I looked it up before. Apparently he want's to find a team of people who are dedicated in creating a film as authentic and true to the books at possible. This is the way things were ment to be.

The reason i got so hooked on the books wasn't just because of the plot twists and cliffhangers. Those were very well written, but i was just amazed by how creative D.J. MacHale was with all the different territories he came up with and how much detail he went into about each one. They were all unique. From the post-war medieval time world of Denduron to the apocalyptic future world of Veelox. His level of creativity really shined in those books.

And I, for one, would never have thought about

The tenth book answered alot of questions, and made my mind keep straying back to it...I enjoyed the whole series alot, and I'm re-reading them right now.

Would someone mind telling me the plot of the books? From what I've picked up on this topic, it sounds like something I'd be interested in.
