I was wondering this off the tip of my head, was Balto a teen in the first movie. This came up when I thought his eye color had changed while getting older and he had gotten a little bushier, if you know what i mean. He seems to have a lot of energy like a teen in the first movie. im interested in what you got to say about the matter.

Depends entirely on which measure of a year (dog or human) we are talking about. Teen human would have been awefully late in life.

Dogs are never teens. Balto was an adult dog.

It could be possible he was young at around 2-3 years old. And he was older in the other two.
...well common sense says that with pups, he of course aged. But you know... more advanced? Four or so more years... >_>

Also I believe the 'bushy' part was the sucktastic animation brought to us in the sequels. And is correct. The second movie they mistakenly left out the yellow, but put it back in the third film.

i got the idea off of WQ posting asking if Aleu was a teenager.

i have come to a conclusion...

balto was a teen, from reading up on Baltos Age, in fact he was a teenager.

Well, think about it. Think about how much energy he had in the first movie, then physically he had widened out some in the third movie, and you can see compared to the third movie, he had much more stamina.

Again, dogs are never teenagers, and where are your sources?

I know for a fact Your wrong. Historically speaking, no one knows for sure how old Balto was during the serum run, as the Seppala family keeps these records private. Though Leonhard Seppala supposedly quoted Balto being six years-old during the time of the serum run. That would put his birth date back to 1919.

So either way, Balto wasn't a teenager.
