If only they were to make another TLK... I wonder how they'd do it: all on computer, because didn't Disney close their traditional animation studios?

As for the "would-be" plot/characters: Simba is a must-have, seeing as how it would "connect" right to the end of TLK2... Kovu/Kiara would be there.

Maybe Nala dies... or Rafiki... Kovu/Kiara have offspring... something like that.

Maybe Kovu & Kiara have young cubs of their own & Timon & Pumbaa will be funny as always. Simba & Nala will have another adventure, and another new villian

No : they closed their own traditional animation studios, but they continue to make sequels traditionally animated. How? By doing the animation overseas, in China for example, just like Universal did with the Balto & LBT sequels. I even heard that they use the same animation studio than Universal (Wang Films)
This does not mean it is poorly animated : the animation in Lion King 3 was made entirely overseas, and it's the best animation seen in a DTV sequel, closed to the first, and better than the second one, which was yet made in the Disney Australia studio...

i dont know what the sequel could be about. Maybe like in the first one Mufasa died and it was all about simba then TLK was mainly about his daugher whatever her name was (am i right?) maybe the next one could be about simba's daughter's son or daughter

You can't guess; they always find scripts that the fans didn't think about. I don't know for Lion king 2, but for Lion King 3, Balto 2 or 3, these stories were not expected by the fans.

Yes I have noticed that... Weird... Well then we can't start plotting or anything. I'll have to live with the fact that they'll always trick us. But we might get close... Well I hope that it's about the royal lions not only about Timon and Pumba though. But I doubt it will only be about Kovu and Kiara's offspring like in the first and second as an idea. They'd think it too repetitive I guess...

I think it would be so cool if they did something like before the lion king where we get to see Mufasa, Scar, and Sarabi as cubs. And how Mufasa met Zazu and Rafikie. I'd also like to see how Scar became so dang mean. i just think that would be so cool if they did something like that.

I think Kiara and Kovu will have twins.A boy and a girl.The boy will look like Scar when he was a cub.The girl will look like Sarabi.Simba will have flash backs from when he was a cub about Sarabi and Scar.Then Kopa wil come back fully grown with a wife and one other cub of his own.My theroy probably off or on.Who knows?

I'd make Kovu and Kiara have a cub, kill Simba, Kovu struggles being top-cat in the pride, Zira did'nt drown afterall and comes back with a new bad guy who challenges Kovu and Timon and Pumbaa are as useless and funny as ever. Simple, to the point explanation.

SimbaGuard that is a great theory. BUT they can't really do anything about it when Kovu is full grown and might even be a father. Here's my heory of the next TLK movie....


First off, Kiara and Kovu have two cubs. The main focus would be on those two, Kovu, and Simba. Then one day the cubs would do something they weren't supposed to and put their lives in danger. Simba dies in the attempt to save the cubs' lives, but is succsesful. The cubs are filled with giult and sorrow. I don't know what would happen after that, but in the end, the cubs are fully grown and have mates.
