A film adaptation of this well-known book series comes out next month. Now I don't no about you but I have never read the series but when I saw the trailers for it I got goosebumps. So what do you think?

I too have never read the books. I started, but soon found it's not my cup of tea, so I stopped. This is a good-looking trailer, and while this looks promising, I'm not sure about this. Looks like it'll be kinda cheesy, or even over-dramatic for a movie about owls.

It gave me goosebumps too. I've never heard of the book series, but I don't really care... the trailer actually looks pretty impressive. I absoloutely love the background song (Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars), and I find it quite amusing how they took out the word 'Hell'. xD Like people pay much attention to the lyrics anyway.. jeez

Anyway, the movie looks pretty incredible. The animation's glorious, and it looks exciting and serious. Just what I've been waiting for in an animated movie, unlike the upcoming Alpha and Omega film. I want to see that too, but it looks nowhere near as good as this. <3

You had the same reaction I did. I still get goosebumps from seeing the trailer. I think this will be a good film, some of the more recent CGI animation films have been rather stupid and I feel this has the potential to be really good.

I don't think I ever really expected this to be a movie. Its a series I remember reading from years ago so naturally, this is a movie I'm looking forward to see.

Plus, the song makes the trailer that much more awesome.

Agreed on this agree. The trailer made this a MUST SEE on my list! ...and if it's good then I'll consider snatching the books somewhere and reading them.

I got to see it the other day and its amazing. You could see every feather on the owls and it just looked so real. Plus I loved their voices. XD Owls with accents!! The music was awesome as well, definitely a soundtrack I'll be buying.

For fitting 3 books into about a two hour span, they did a wonderful job. There were - obviously - a few things that were left out/changed, but that is simply the norm for any book that is turned into a movie.

I never read the books...its amazing what that does to make a movie seem better. XD

Anyways, like tibb said, the animation was really stunning...alot better than some things I've seen. I agree, I loved their voices...their accents were awesome! tibb, you basically summed up what I wanted to say. Animation, music, etc. Well, excluding the "spoiler" part, considering I've never read the series.

(I'm saving up the money now...books are usually better than the movie, after all. And I really enjoyed the movie)

If it was illegal the site would have been shut down, the site pays and youtube does same thing in parts yes but same and its a government site since they paid the people 4 billion$ to buy it so if youtube isn't illegal neither is that site, they have every TV show every movie and im sure it woulda been shut down long ago if it was, there not bootlagged copies either, if its up its not illegal, you always gotta take the fun out of it, the balto movies are there to you gonna go to the company or to the
