Ok so I'm not sure if this has yet to be posted, but I have yet to see it so here we go.
Lets get straight to the point: I think we (as creators) should have the option of deactivating our characters.
Yes I know we can delete them, but lets say someone wants to change said character's design, why would they want to delete it then re-type and resubmit it? That is a waste of time, not to mention very time consuming.
I think by us deactivating it, it should stay active, like what I mean is that we won't have to re-submit it and wait for it to be checked, but ofcourse the same rules apply like we still must use it.
What do you think?

Well, what is preventing you from directly making the changes? It's not as if it takes hours to do it. (if you mean drawing other pictures, you can do that outside of the site)

My answer to that would be just ... don't make them unless you're going to use them?

I can use myself as an example, I have tons of characters. At least ... 6-7 maybe more who are directly related to the Balto universe in some way but none have a character. One does have one made but seeing as I hardly upload art here anymore he got auto-deactivated for having no content of him up and I just left him.
It's not that hard to write up profiles in Microsoft Word or even the default WordPad program you get with Windows or OpenOffice.org which is free to download and just like MSWord. That's what I've done with all my comic characters.
When a character needs a character page just copy-paste the info from the Word file into the character info box and it's all sorted.

Well what I actually mean is, if you need to change it's design: Simple de activate it until you finish the re activate it aslong as you updat the things you've used it in.
UK-->I see where you are coming from, I do the same thing saving it as a Word document.
