Now I sent a character and had it deactivated. This is the message I got back:
Quote:
Character not respecting the rules - personality and history are too short, also a relation to Balto is needed.

Now I'm not complaining about the fact it was deactivated; I made it into a much better character after I got this. But I'm complaining about the bit in bold.
First of all; how long does it need to take to describe what a person/animal is like? It doesn't actually mention anything about a specific length of history or personality. This is what it does say;

Quote:
Complete : Your character must have one "headshot" drawing, one "detailed" drawing, a long description (at least 5 lines long) with such information : Age, Breed (if an animal), Personality, Likes, Dislikes, Background, ... You mustn't use photos but drawings.

My character was about 5 lines, so I don't see any actual reason within the rules for this character to have been deactivated.

So can the moderators please update the rules?

Those weren't my messages I think, I never use bold words =/

Well, actually, the chars that I (so that's just my opinion) deactive for that specific reason are ones that have just three or four words as personality, it's noth enough, it's like you're writing a telegram and this may look like that you doesn't care that much, that the character isn't that developed since it's so poorly made. I think an acceptable lenght is around the two-three lines.

Oh, sorry, I made it bold so people clearly saw what aspect of the message I was complaining about.
Thanks for clearing that up, but they should probably put that in the actual written rules somewhere.
