Okay this really needs to be addressed!! Usually I don't get so worked up about this, but after trying several things, I'm hoping this might finally get through that member's thick skull! The member previously mentioned has been stealing my art... not just on this site but on several other sites as well. I have tried numerous things such as:

-friendly warnings
-stern warnings
-more stern warnings
-reporting them
-asking them to just stop in general
-very angry warnings

But she just doesn't stop!! She doesn't get kicked off the site for stealing all the stuff she steals (nor is she confronted in any wa except for me) and I'm not sure how to get her to stop!!!

and these are made by me in MY art gallery!!! I'm ranting but I'm also asking for help! I'm sick and tired of keeping this member from stealing my stuff. No one else steals it except for her.

Hmm. I've had to report this member more than once for stealing art and renders. Maybe contact a mod directly and talk to them about the thief. You may also want to try putting a water mark over your pictures.

what's a water-mark and how do you do one? i've heard of them before, but i'm not really sure what they are.

Like type your user name and put it over the characters in the pic.

I have come across my own problems with teal aswell. The stolen art thing also spread to her characters, where she constantly copied off you. I was certainly suprised that even though most of my friends and I reported almost every stolen peice of hers, hardly any action was taken untill now.

Watermarks work really great for preventing the problem though. (One noticable as a warning, and just incase I personally like to put a well hidden one on renders.) With the renders, it's easy to blur the render ONCE, so that it IS blurred, but not all that noticible. This only prevents the user from recoloring your work, however.
Hopefully Teal will learn her lesson sooner or later.

What is wrong with people these days? It just stupid. Some people don't have any repsect for anyone else or ruels for that matter.

Oh my dawg that's really enough D< we have to stop them, at least, Timber had her own style but copied the designs but this one, woha, stealing the art and everything and writing "YES, I made them" it's blasphemy! We seriously need to stop them but I dubt that even when banned she won't think to make a new account using who knows which "tecniques" to evade the ban...jeesh, it's very annoying!
I have few tips:
For drawings
As everyone suggested, use a watermark or simply write your name on the drawing adding it some opacity so it won't cover that part of drawing.

For Images
You don't really have to blurry them, honestly, I think that adding some Blur to the renders may was a bit their look =/ no offence to anyone you guys, it's just my opininon, personally, when I render, I render resized images, like a 900x900 o 1000x1000 px so, once the render it's finished, I re-resize it to a 600x500 (or similar) and it looks very good, just look at the ones in my gallery xD

Got to love art thieves huh? *head/desk* While we can't do anything punishment wise for what she's doing on another site, I also know she's a repeat offender here on BS, and has been warned/banned several times for it. I'd have to check and see how many she's accumulated now, but maybe a longer or permanent ban is in order. Since I've never seen her in the shout boxes or forums being active, seems she only uses the site for the fanart/images section.

Seeing as how she is nothing but trouble, and hasn't learned from her bans, she should be perma banned.
