Made two new characters; Rabbit and Summer Delight, and now I'm putting their pups up for adoption seeing as I only want one of them anyway.

Hawthorne is no longer up for adoption unless I suddenly get bored of him...again.

Blue is male, pink is female.

- No complaining/whining/whinging/fighting/rudeness/begging etc
- No spamming
- No stealing
- Don't tell me you're going to enter, just post the picture and bio and be done with it
- Picture and bio must be posted together
- Must have a creative, detailed history
- Renders are acceptable, but own drawings are preferred. No linearts.
- Don't PM me the entry, just post it here
- Feel free to kill them off, doesn't make much difference to me
- If you don't do anything with the character then I will take it back

Notes
- They will be a part of CatWhoHas14Tails family tree (their parents are from the same farm as Fly who is best friends with Chester (adopted from Cat) AND the pup I keep will be good friends with Pester (Chester's daughter), so they must not be affliated with your characters if they are from your own tree
- They are born in 1932
- Please don't everyone send them to Nome. The farm they live on to begin with is situated closer to White Mountain than Nome and I'd rather not all of them end up in the same place
- When it comes to their builds, don't make them generic. They are 1/2 Rough Collie, 1/4 Border Collie and 1/4 St Bernard so take that into account

Kolton let me design some pups for my character Fly and her Felice (adoption topic here--> felice-s-childreenn-t30111.html ) so here's four of five that I'm putting up for adoption. Again, preferably not to remain in Nome, but I'm not gonna be too fussy this time. And also part of Cat14's tree.

Deadline
15th September. Any leftover dogs I will just invent random stories for. Tho they'll all most likely be killed off/move so they have no involvement in the over-populated-with-dogs town of Nome.

Name: Buckthorn
Age: Born in 1932
Gender: Male
Breed: 1/2 Rough Collie, 1/4 Border Collie, 1/4 St Bernard

Personality: Smart, intelligent, loving, caring, friendly, playful and loyal.
Likes: His owner, his friends, Kacey and her pups, to run free, to play with pups, to fetch the ball....
Dislikes: Hunters, mean dogs and humans, his enemy.
History: His owner took him when he was 7 weeks. He owned a small house in Nenana and lived there with Buckthorn. As Buckthorn was growing up, he was happier with him. Later, there they met Kacey with her pups. She was lonely and with no home. So he took another dog. Kacey and Buckthorn became mates.
How he/she feels about their parents: Buckthorn loves his parents a lot, he's been very sad when his owner took him away from them.
What you plan to do with the character: He'll be Kacey's mate, so that means he will be used in a fanfic, drawings and renders.
Other: Kacey have had three pups with a other dog, but he died because someone shot him. Then she get heartbroken and left Nome. But then he met Buckthorn and fell in love with him. Later, they'll have their own pups.

Name: Buckthorn (even though he only adresses himself with "Thorn" )

Mate: Ginger, but has impregnated some other females while missing her

Children: Has about 9 pups with different females

Personality: Quite naive, easily trusts others. Even though he doesn't always prefer friends company, especially when they begin to talk about him (like teasing etc.) . He's quite a momma's boy when it comes to his friends and talking with them, cause he often likes to go and tell his mom everything they said about him and so on... But, when it comes to exploring the territory, he's always first to go, especially if the territory is unknown. He often leads others in trouble because of that. He has a good sense of humor, is a great actor and can easily imitate even a frog xD . Even though his jokes can often be disturbing and so, but he doesn't care about it.

Likes: Joking, acting like a real actor, exploring the unknown places, being with his parents, his friends.

Dislikes: Eating from a bowl (xD), when his friends tease him, being responsible of his friends, when his friends say that his jokes are disturbing and sick, water (creek, river, no matter xD).

History: He was taken by an old man who lived nearby the farm somewhere deep in forest. Man taught him everything that was needed while living in forest like catching fish, chasing off wild animals and so on. Thorn didn't like it that much, so he often travelled to the farm to meet his friends and parents. He spent there most of the time.
Yet one day, on the way to the farm, he met a beautiful Golden Retriever female, drinking from the river. They introduced themselves to eachother, and began to hang out. They grew closer and closer each day...
One day, when Thorn came to see her as usual, she told him to follow her as she wanted to show him something. He followed her. The way led to hunter's/maniac's house...
As they walked into the yard, Thorn noticed a man looking at him, with gun pointed at him. Thorn was so scared that he didn't even notice how female left. He looked around, but didn't see her. He tried running back to the forest, but some of hunter's friends shut the gate of the fence. It seemed like there was no way out, so Thorn just layed down and waited for his death. The hunter wanted to shoot, but then he heard telephone ringing inside the house. He left the dog and went inside. Taking this moment, Thorn turned back and attacked the hunter's friends, managing to escape. He ran back to the forest.
It was probably evening when he finally reached his home, hungry, tired, thirsty... His owner understood everything, and soon enough his owner bought a house in White Mountain, alot further from the farm and forest, and they lived happily there.
Soon enough Thorn realised that he missed Ginger alot. At first he tried to fight back this loneliness, but soon it affected his mind. He impregnated some females, not thinking what he was doing, but this didn't do any better. Overflooded with mates, admirers, and pups, he grew into depression. Depression, that led him to one decision: to go and search for Ginger.
He talked with his mates, and left them and his pups, not waiting for their answer. He went back to the same forest, where they met.
Week passed as he travelled, tired, and almost hopeless. But, after one day, he found her, laying near the tree, alone and sad. He walked up to her, and smiled. As she looked at him, happyness appeared in her eyes. She stood up, and nuzzled him, crying. She apologized for what she did, and that she loved him. He forgave her, and told that he felt the same. Both were really happy to be reunited once again and became mates.
Then Thorn came back to White Mountain together with Ginger. Thorn then found out that many females he mated with grew mad and abandoned their pups. He and Ginger then found all the pups and adopted them.


How he/she feels about their parents: He loves them too much, and would do anything to travel to the farm and see them again, as he's too far from them.

What you plan to do with the character: He seems like a very nice char, and I plan to adjust his history to his death, maybe create a contest for his mates and children, draw him alot... Basic things xD

Other: Wears a green/blue collar xD

Hm 2. But that doesn't mean you'll get both so I'd advise you not to make them too involved with each other unless they have a really unique/interesting story.

Name: Freesia
Age: Born in 1932
Gender: Female
Breed: 1/2 Rough Collie, 1/4 Border Collie, 1/4 St Bernard
Parents: Rabbit and Summer Delight
Mate: None Currently
Children: None Currently
Personality: Freesia definitely inherited the St. Bernard trait from her father's side of the family. As a result she is a big softy. She likes to trust people and will often take others at their word, believing that they would never lie to her. She believes in giving others second chances and has a difficult time saying no to anyone. Because of her desperate need to please others, she can often over exert herself. This results from her trying to do too much until she finally gets so exhausted that she tends to get burnt out. She loves kids and puppies with all of her heart, and unlike most dogs this love extends to all living things. She doesn't like arguing, and will only argue with her siblings if negotiating and compromising didn't work. She can be very stubborn when it comes to trying to persuade someone to come around to her viewpoint.
Likes: HUMANS, (especially kids) cats, dogs, puppies, sleeping by the fire, snow, water, giving and receiving hugs and kisses.
Dislikes: Very loud and sharp noises, (they scare her) the harmonica, violence, avalanches.
History: Freesia was one of the last pups to leave her parents. She was taken by a young man who was about to enter into a monastery high up in the mountains between White Mountain and Nome. The monk loved the obvious St. Bernard looks and blood that was evident in Freesia. He took her to live at the monastery with him and trained her to be one of the dogs who go out into the snow after an avalanche and search for travelers who are buried. Freesia proved to be quite good at this job and she love it with all of her big heart. She spends her days doing this and her nights curling up with the young man who first brought her to this life.
How he/she feels about their parents: She loves them with all of her heart, but feels slightly embarressed that she inherited her father's St. Bernard features and build, instead of her mother's dainty frame and stunning looks.
What you plan to do with the character: She will be used mainly in drawings and sketches as most of my chars are.
Other: She once proved her gentle nature by bringing her master a tiny baby bird that she had found. She carried it gently in her mouth and carefully placed it on her owner's lap, the little bird was completely covered in slobber, but other than that it was fine.

She has inherited the St. Bernard looks and build, which means she weighs in at 130 pounds, and unfortunately also inherited the St. Bernard drooling lips. This flaw has prevented her from getting close to any males, the few that did try to date her lasted only a few dates because the drooling didn't make her 'ladylike' enough for them. This hasn't effected her confidence as she has accepted her flaws, and has simply resigned herself to the fact that she needs someone who can look past those flaws.

She accompanies her owner into White Mountain once in a while to restock up on supplies and uses this time to visit her parents. Her mother likes to remind her how special she is and that there is a guy out there who will see that one of these days. These conversations have caused Freesia to treasure her mother quite dearly.
