Name: Alaric
Breed: 100% Husky
Gender: Male
Parents: Sethla and Jenna
Siblings: Nola, , ,
Personality: Very smart, and usually can see the small things no one else can, but rarely he can't see things like he usually does and when this happens it tends to strike him dumb and make him almost oblivious to them. He'll be able to catch tiny details most of the time, but again, anything that is able to wiggle it's way past, Alaric's never really able to tell unless someone points it out. The husky is brave as well, willing to put his life on the line for just about anyone. He isn't the type to be non-trustworthy, and he is willing to give his trust openly. However, he can tell when you're using him, and if you abuse his trust you're in for it. He's not afraid to tell you when something needs to be fixed, and isn't one to hide anything from anyone unless he sees it needs to be done. His temper usually doesn't flare, but if you get him upset or angry, watch out because he's not scared to nip you in the back or take any insults.
How they feel about Sethla: Sethla's 'flings' are the one thing Alaric never seemed to get or understand. He doesn't hate his father, nor does he feel he has an amazing bond with him either. He respects him for being kind to other females instead of a first class jerk like most other dogs, but then again he's not informed that his father's personality is masked. For now, Alaric gets along with Sethla, does feel as if he's his father, and loves him like one too. He's just not sure if it's a special bond or if he'll end up hating him in the end.
How they feel about Jenna: Alaric loves his mother. He feels she's the kindest, sweetest dogs around Nome. He knows she almost never has a bad side, and sometimes envies her for it, because he himself can be such a hot-head when others anger him. Alaric bonds very much with Jenna, and would do most anything for her.
Future: [Not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean history? Or what we'll do with them? I'll put both just in case, LOL.]
History~ Alaric was born with the rest of his siblings in a highly populated area of Nome. Well, highly populated for Alaska, anyway. He grew learning about the town and all the people from different street dogs, and although Jenna always warned him about not going into the streets or not talking to strangers when he was younger, Alaric always seemed fascinated by the street dogs and loved venturing out to talk to them. He became very smart by hearing so many stories and so many facts from so many different dogs and it was only a matter of time before all this information made him one of the most intelligent dogs around. Although, he always had a keen eye for seeing things most dogs could not, his smarts weren't exactly from the best sources in the world, so his vision was fragmented in that sense. Sometimes he couldn't understand things that were right in his face, and that is one of his downfalls.
Jenna eventually gave up on telling the little pup not to see strangers, because he would never listen anyways. One day, though, a massive dog he wanted to talk to swept him up and held him against his will. The dog didn’t know what he was going to do with Alaric, because he hadn’t exactly planned that out yet, so while he left to figure it out, Alaric found a way to get out of the trap and escape. He never saw that dog again. He came home panting and told his parents the whole story, and from that day on he never let anyone take advantage of him again. Although, he didn’t let this incident affect his trust, it had major damage to his temperament.
Any time someone would insult him or try to use him even in the slightest, he’d snap. The tramatic experience from before was enough to set him off entirely whenever something like this happened. It was strange, though, because any other dog would have guessed it’d be his social state that would have been destroyed.
Most other dogs around town wanted to join teams at a certain point, but when Alaric turned 2, he wanted to do no such thing. He believed he had no real place with any of the sled dogs, and therefore tried to find something else to entertain him.
He eventually took to talking around town once more, trying to solve conflicts dogs had with each other and help them look past their differences to make up. While doing this, it earned him a lot of friends and therefore, a lot of other dogs to talk to and converse with.
This life never really suited as the most entertaining, though, so he tried to find other things to do as well. Then, he thought of an idea while watching some dogs being taken into the pound. What if he could use his abilities to see things most couldn’t, and make them his advantage? That’s how his new practice started. He became known around the whole town as the ‘Shelter Snatcher’, ‘snatching’ dogs from shelters and pounds and helping them get onto the streets without getting caught himself. In this way, he also gained a lot of new buds, but also helped save a lot of dogs from getting killed as well.
He continued on doing this, and still continues today.
What I’ll do with him~ I’ll be featuring him a TON of fanart, and possibly even a fanfic if I find a decent plot ^^
Other: Looks a lot like his father, but does have several attributes to his mother as well.
