Plot: A water horse egg has been found by a ten year old child in a cave next to the ocean. The child takes it home, and it hatches into a baby water horse (of course). You decide what happens to the two in this rp.

Personality: She is often quiet, and for some reason has a hard time fitting in, making her an animal person. She isn't very forceful, but she can be motherly. She hates violence, and is the peacemaker of any group she miraculously happens to be in.
Other: She's the one who finds the water horse
Description: Mary has shoulder-length dark brown hair, almost black. She has dark green eyes, and a tanned complexion from hours under the sun. She has a spray of freckles dotting the bridge of her nose, and often has hair hiding her face.

Accepted, and it's set in the present over in Scotland.

Mary sighed, an awry strand of dark hair fluttering and moving away from her face. Once again, she had been left to roam on her own, and once again, she had headed towards the beach. It was normal for her to wade in the water, or at least let the waves splash over the tips of her toes. But today she had made the strange decision to climb over the rocks. She reconsidered this as a jagged one made a small cut on her hand. She rested it in the small pools of ocean water that dotted the rocks, wincing at the sting of the salt. At least it was clean.

A small opening caught the gaze of her green eyes, and she began to make her way towards it. It happened to be bigger than she first thought, and she slipped inside the cave. Mary was slightly disappointed to find only rocks and sand inside. A particularily large stone got her attention, and she scraped aside some muck on it. An odd glimpse of color made her inhale sharply.

Immediatly, Mary scraped at it more, not caring about the small cut on her hand in her curiousity. It soon revealed an oval shaped stone, seeming to glow softly in her eyes. "Whoa," she murmured.

Chandler, although still extremely young, could feel someone's warm touch on the outside layer of his egg. He tried to make a sound, but only a barely above whisper whine came out.

Chandler, recognizing another voice, tried to whine again. He tried his best to move, wiggling the egg slightly, but enough for Mary to feel.
