I've adopted pets, but never a wild animal. If ypu get to adopt a wild animal like that, do you keep it? Or just give money?

I got my most recent adopted animal only about 5 days ago. She's a Border collie mix named Rosie. She's my baby.

You give money to keep it alive. It's with endangered animals to keep them around.
That's lovely ^^ Any chance you could put up a picture

My parents adopted our beagle 6 years ago. She was only a year old when we got her.

The only way anyone can have a wild animal as a pet is if you have exotic animal licence.

They have an adoption scheme going at my local zoo, so I thought I would help out my favourite animal c:

I didn't mean as a pet, I meant sponsoring it. Here we call it adopting. That's great, adopting a dog/cat is better than getting one from a litter (unless you're a first-time owner)

@Diego_rules: Cool ^^ Are they endangered?

As for wild animals, I've been trying to look into adopting a wolf (to donate money and stuff).
But as for normal pets, I have three rescue dogs. The first wasn't adopted, my cousins found her on the street and we put up signs for weeks but no one claimed her. So we got to keep her. Currently, she's a 15 year old chocolate lab ^^

Other two I adopted from shelters.
One is a pointer/JRT mix named Delilah. She only had 3 days left to live at the pound! D=
The other is a border collie mix named Bella who we got at a shelter:]

This is Delilah when we first got her (She fell asleep on my head xD)

This is Delilah just bein' cute ^^

Her bein' cute again

Bella when we first got her (she was so tiny!)

Bella now (she's huge :O)

Comparison of adult Delilah and baby Bella

Comparison of Adult Delilah and current Bella

What's the point in adopting a wolf? They're not endangered xD

Yeah they are. Their numbers are dwindling little by little. But the ones that are critically endangered are Ethopian wolves. They're so endangered that they've been renamed because they only live in Ethopia now =(

Oh good. I thought you meant Grey Wolves, which aren't endangered at all, no matter how much people want to believe they are.

Rebelness: Oh no, gray wolves aren't endangered at all. But another wolf that's also critacally endangered which I plan on "adopting" one, is Mexican Wolves. (once again, renamed because they only live in Mexico)
