Introduction: Washed away is about the stray dogs point of view in the city of New Orleans during hurricane Katrina and what they as homeless animals had to go threw.

Plot: A pack of stray dogs in the Big Easy. There life was the normal life. Didn't live for fame or fortune. They just were able to squeak by tipping over garbage cans, begging for food from strangers, and on rare occasions catching a rabit all for themselves. Nothing was too unusual about their city life. Just like any other city life for a stray dog in the big city, be it New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc... But on the dreaded day in the beginning of September of 2005 a catastrophic storm took aim on the city of New Orleans. They had no idea what hit them. All they could do to stay alive was run and help each other out knowing they would do the same for them if they were caugh in a pickle.

What will happen to the dogs of New Orleans during and after the storm, nobody knows....

Personality: Rocco is a bold and very brash dog, never afraid to speak his mind. He is known for being a bit bossy at times and knows others hate him for that but he just doesn't care. He doesn't think things through, he doesn't think he just does. He can be a bit of a hot head at times as well and has and will pick a fight. He has some leadership qualities but not enough to be a true leader. He's known to take command and fail epically at it. No matter what he always seems to fail but in his mind he won. He can be a bit full of himself as well, thinking his way is the right way and there is no other way to do it than his way.
History: Rocco was born on the streets. He has spent some time in and out of the dreaded pound. He never really knew his parents since they abandoned him, most likely because of his nauseating antics.

History: She was born in a house but got kicked out because she was the runt of the litter. Ever since then, she's been a fragile, gentle soul. She'll do anything to help her friends, but at the same time she can be a little too gentle to do much of anything.

Personality: Karma is an absolute sweet hearts, but she is also very brave. She never backs down from danger and often goes looking for it. She is clever and observent, but shies away from being the center of attention.
History: Karma was born into a nice home, and was adopted to another pleasant family when she was around 6 months old. Everything seemed perfect until she turned one year old because the mother of her human family died. Things got choatic in the household and the father went through many troubles. Karma was lucky to get out of the house as it burned down because the father was in a drunken sleep and left the oven on. Instead of being put into the pound, Karma ran off and has lived on the streets ever since.

Personality: Buck has a gentle and loyal heart, but he can be very over-protective of the ones he cares about. He is not the most trusting dog on the street. He seems very serious, but will loosen up and laugh after you get to know him.
History: Buck was born and raised on the streets, so he is very street smart. He recently took in a puppy (Max) to teach him the ways of the street because he had no one else to teach him.

Personality: Max is playful and adventurous and curious, and basically just acts sweey and innocence like any puppy. He is also veyr energtic and gets frightened VERY easily.
History: Max was born on the streets and stayed with his mother and siblings. He knows nothing about his father. The family was almost caught by the dog catcher, and only Max and his sister got away. Not long after that, his sister was hit by a car. Max was on his own and starving before Buck found him.

Breed: A bit of a mutt, but mostly a German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix
Age: Teen (1 1/2)
Gender: Male
Apperence: Mostly looks like a Rottie with orange on the underside of his muzzle, black on top, orange on the bottom, with orange paws, but he has a tail. His mother was a mutt whose German Shepherd side came through, his dad a Rottie.
Personality: A bit mischievous, but he was playful when it came to his owner.
History: Taz was a dog who liked the outdoors, and loved to jump over the fence to get by the lake that was nearby his owner's house. He also loved to dig holes underneath to the neighbors yard, so they had to tether him to the fence, but they still came out and played within his line. After the hurricane they had to give him up, but he escaped the pound when they accidentally left his cage door open and he wanders the streets.
Other (opptional): He's a huge fan of belly scratches, but he tries not to admit it.

Rocco was asleep it was you average hot stick New Orleans night. Nothing unusual about late August in the Big Easy. Still the drunkardness of Burbon Street and the eeriness of the French Quarters. Suddenly a bright flash of lightening lit up the night sky and loud sonic boom followed quite closely. Rocco was startled by the lightening accompanied by the thunder. "Not another thunder storm" he said outloud confident the rest of the group awoken do to the sudden flash of light and boom.

OOC: Just a question, are they all toether in the group, already?

Alli poked her head up into the air, hearing the thunder. She shook her fur, and head. "Grr..." she muttered, "Stupid storm..." she shook her head, again. She got up and stretched, deciding that she might want to get into better shelter(such as a pile of boxes) since she had just been sleeping in the corner of an alley. She loped down the alleyway, searching the night with her eyes. She could see fairly well for a dog like herself.
