It's more annoying for me because these characters are usually the trampy ones. You know, the flirts, etc. I don't know how many characters I've seen with this sorta thing. Can't some of them just be NICE? Can some of them NOT be stuck up, prideful, arrogant, whatever else, I'm probably guilty of this too to some degree but ugh! Either that, or they are very lovely but can totally stand up for themselves and have their say if they can. That's annoying too. But this is going off topic and what is this I don't even

THANK YOU. I'm so tired of the "I breed with EVERYONE" dog characters because everyone has one and they're always flirtacious and ~*sexy*~ or mean and unlikable to the point that wonder why any character would breed with them in the first place.

Why can't you have a character who is genuinely ashamed of the fact that they have like 2389479 past relationships? In fact, I'm going to make one just to break up the monotony.

I agree with whats being said here. Especially with what Gray Pawz said. Characters who are always having puppies and one night stands and such are getting tedious. Seriously, I thought people were already complaining that we BS members were making Nome a town for canines without all these obsessive 'stud dogs' around chucking pups out left, right and center.

Obviously, I have nothing against the people who make these characters, I'm just saying, it's boring now. Think of your own, different ideas.

I was also thinking, whats the obsession with your characters having mates/crushes? Can't a character be single anymore?



I would love to see a character like this. It would certainly make a change c:

Guys, what's your problem? Let's take a look at realistic dogs life- I don't know about you, but I have never seen a dog, male or female, who mates with only one dog and stays with him/her for the rest of their life. Okay, female dogs DO care for their pups, but NOT males.
Stud/breeding dogs are even MORE realistic than those who you call "normal/calm/friendly/whatever" dogs. I'n not trying to be rude, nor show any offense.

BUT, about the "popular" dogs...You're right. Char needs to be worth the "glory" it's owner gives to him/her, no matter whether that'd be looks, personality, history...Just something.

If I don't like a charrie, I do not look at it nor pay any attention to it. But it's still hard to ignore some of them.

Now Norm is ok ;D He hasn't about 30 litters xDD And I understand that he has more of story than just breeding as I have read his bio c:



I understand this, and you have made a very good point actually, which I kinda forgot about xDD I just don't think people remember that female dogs come in heat. Only twice a year. So it's impossible to for dog to have so many puppies in one go.

I hear that xDDD The ones that really cheese me off are the ones that are both claimed to be popular, simply cuz they've requested the same characters to be drawn over and over and over again wwhheenneevveerr ANYONE is taking requests. And ALOT of this "fanart" is just filled in lineart. How boring. None of the fanart even defines the characters in it, not that that's the artist's fault. None of it tells ANYTHING about the character(s) personality, what they've gone through, much less any interesting habits or traits they possess.

How boring. How can someone claim popularity on such dull characters?

BUT CAT THEY DOOOOO HAVE A BACK STORY, THIS THIS THIS AND THIS HAPPENS TO THEM.

Yea? Big deal, they're still boring. Just because you make stuff happen to your character doesn't make them any stronger for the fact that you don't know what you're doing to develop it. So stop claiming your Jenna-colored Balto or Nava pack member or Aleu spawnchild is the makes of a GENIUS because you bred them with a mythical being or gave him/her purple eyes.

Heh... my character Brett (red Aleu-twin) is popular BECAUSE he's so nice and charming. He was a bit of a harmless flirt (he'd never hurt or sleep with the girls), until he found his mate. He was created way before the character section, so there weren't much overly popular horrid flirts to my knowledge.

And because they're Balto the hero's children, they're sorta destined to be popular. But I agree that they shouldn't really be all popular and well-known without good reason, and good character development. Mean flirty sexy characters with like 100 sex partners are just getting old now.

this is totally true xD I think the first chars to be like that were JT and Ren, after the "Big fours" arrived, so Kolton's Felice, WWM's Litonya, Lone's Derrek and my Don. I remember that I recived a billion of PMs with random people asking me if their sparkle dog could breed with Don, I obviusly refused and that's why now I don't breed him anymore or if I do, I just let the female's owner make only one pup.
Since those chars are...eerrr..popular(?), many BSers made their own rude breeding dog because they wanted to get as much attentions as the others did...but, as you said Rebelness, this is getting old and annoying, not all dogs are like that...my Don was made like that because he's a stud, he was used as a breeding dog and now, after he does not "officialy" works in a breeding farm, he still enjoys having some girls around xD


yeah, that's an annoying this too xDD these last times, an army of cameos from the first, second, third movie were turned into characters xD
Most of them just have 2 words of personality, I had to deactivate one that had written something like "very nice to his friends and pack memebers" and that was claimed to be a personality xD they just aren't developed at all, they're just made for the moment and hardly used or, if they are used, you just see coloured linearts or blank renders and stop...
ORIGINALITY! that's what we need!

Which makes me wonder if people actually like Antara because she has something to do with JT (a popular character) or because people actually like her. I never had the intention to win popularity with her, she wasn't even noticed much even in the JT's ladies contest dangit. and now it's probably the only character people can relate to me.

SERIOUSLY people have you ever wondered that with more one-night-stand relationships the more dysfunctional puppy generations will become. Let's not forget about Cat's Rain or Gibson McGregor or STEPHENIE aahhhh

I let my poor Antara have pups with that monster of a ladies man JT and look at their deformed xenofobic creepy narcissistic natze puppies.

Are THIS the kind of pups you Mary Sue wants to have?
