As previously discussed in the Snow Queen thread, Tangled is Disney's film adaptation of Rapunzel. I suck at these descriptions but since now it has it's own trailer I figured it gets it's own thread.

I've decided to post my comments as a reply instead of including it in the starting post, just a habit of mine.

Ok, so it's definitely clear now that Disney are soiling themselves if anyone suggests this is a Princess movie. No it ain't! It's Tangled! It's got a thief as the main character! No princess! Never!
Plus, Rapunzel's so badass, she can whip her hair around! Lyk radical! She's not a damsel in distress! She's not a typical princess!!!

The whole hair whip thing kinda seems gimmicky to me. I noticed they somewhat kinda pulled off the "lustrous hair" that that director guy wanted, but I can only see the painterly sort of effect in some of the backgrounds, it's not a huge artistic effect from what I can see. They've got some nice expressiveness going on which I like.
I hope this plot doesn't entirely suck though... it's trying so hard to be modern from the trailer... let's see.

I just saw it yesterday and plan to go again next week! I just adored this film! Disney's done it again and it was so worth the horribly long wait! Hilarious, brilliant animation [for being a computer animated movie], and Pascal was adooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrable!!! ...I'll stop now. But I recommend to all!

I plan on seeing it because of the glowing reviews here, and I know AS is a tough crowd when it comes to 3D movies, so I have high hopes.

I've seen the trailers and all i have to say is it looks awesome~!
It really has a disney style to it for a CGI movie, you know the 2D style disney used to do.
