Hello guys, I am Chiibi (it's a nickname from high school) and I was super-delighted to find this forum because ANIMATION IS LOVE. I was mesmerized by it as a toddler, a child, a teenager, and now as an adult. All types, even from other countries, which an underground company "Just For Kids" gave me the pleasure of seeing. Growing up from the mid 80s, I was basically raised by Disney classics and Don Bluth films, Fox Studio films, and reaching my teen years, anime. I went through an ignorant period where I thought American animated films sucked compared to anime and I shunned them for a good while but after my third year of high school when we were studying Sherlock Holmes, I was staring at the dialogue in the text book thinking "Hey....isn't this exactly what Basil said to Dawson?" When I got home, I popped in my old VHS copy of the Great Mouse Detective to find out and my love for the movie was completely rekindled! I realized I could view Disney films and the like at a completely different perspective as an adult and started to do so. I enjoy them even more now than when I was little, I think!
...........though I still love anime. XD For the variety and appealing looks. And the Japanese language. Oh I'm passionate over it. I took it in high school and I'm semi-fluent. But I was happy to know my childhood films are still able to entertain me.
...........daaaaah I'm rambling...lol sorry, I love to talk. Um, I'll randomly list some favorites to tell you more about me:
Hobbies: Shipping, reading/drawing manga, crafting, sewing doll clothes, studying Asian culture...and talking on forums like these!!
Disney films: GMD, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Robin Hood
Don Bluth films: All Dogs Go to Heaven, The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, Anastasia
Fox films: Balto, Ferngully, We're Back!
Anime: Full Moon Wo Sagashite, Sailormoon, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Air TV, Chrono Crusade, Princess Tutu and lots more lol
Short cartoons: Hey Arnold! Invader Zim, Dexter's Laboratory, The Animaniacs, and most Disney/WB toons from the 90s! And Family Guy for making me laugh a lot.
Bands: Nightwish, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Savage Garden, I've Sound, Changin' My Life. (And most of the music in the Disney films STILL rock my socks!!)
Books/Movies: Harry Potter, The Secret Garden, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Chronicles of Narnia (seriously, anything fantasy, SIGN ME UP XD)
On a last note about animation of today: STOP WITH THE 3D!! 2D HAS TO BE FOR LIFE.<3
...oh but Pixar can stay. XD
*is very excited for Toy Story 3* lol

Welcome to Animation Source. You have good taste in animated films and shows. (I loved the Secret of NIMH and Robin Hood. Always wanted to finish watching the GMD but never got the chance to).

He's extremely funny when he's fooling around and extremely scary when he gets serious. One quote that's pretty good is "Oooooh I love it when I'm nasty!!" You can tell how much fun Price had playing such an evil guy. XD
