This is something that's been bothering me for a while now. Many people like making covers for their fanfiction stories these days, but the only trouble is... the cover never seems to fit. Mostly because the book image is too small.

First example, the cover literally falls right out of the book here:

And I've seen worse than this.

Second, the banner cover has obviously been automatically re-sized to fit int othe book, causing the image to blur and making the text totally un-readable:

Not sure if it bothers anyone else, but it does annoy me. It looks tacky and lazy. My suggestion is to make the book cover larger, or simply get rid of it. Like, if someone has an image cover, it'll show on the page for you to click on. If there isn't a cover, it'll just say the title (clickable), or "Click here to read!" under the title. These are just a few suggestions, but the best ones i can think up so far.

So, your thoughts?

I added these covers, because I thought it would be a good idea to have "virtual books". (and I still think it's a nice thing that I have never seen anywhere else)

I had (have) plans on giving more possibilities on how it's displayed though (like choosing the colors, or the size) but never got time to work on that. Maybe one of these options could be "no cover".

I agree with this, I think we should be able to remove this front cover, especially when there is an image involved.
