So, well, I'm a newbie to the forum, though not to forums in general. Although, I will admit that I was kind of MIA from most internet communities for the last couple years.
Anyhoo, what is there to say about me? Obviously, I'm a TaleSpin fan and I think it's already apparent that I live in Germany (ja, ich kann Deutsch) and that I like Darkwing Duck, too. Guess I probably don't need to tell you guys what the German title for TaleSpin is.
At the moment, it's not airing here - that I know of.. One of our basic channels plays a number of old cartoons on Sunday Mornings. Right now, it seems to be a weird run of super-heroes (X-Men and some others) and ducks (Ducktales/Darkwing Duck, for example)... oh, and Aladdin and Timon & Pumbaa. TaleSpin will probably come back, again.
Oh, I guess I could add that I watched TaleSpin (and Darkwing Duck, et al) on TV in the afternoons as a child when it first aired (well, I started a few episodes in, but still). Did most of my watching of it, however, on Disney Afternoon (did it come on after Gummi Bears?) when I was, I believe, 12 years old. That was the peak of my childhood TS-obsession.
My favourite character is, and has always been, Don Karnage. When I was a child, I'd even made a fan-character, but we won't bother with that now.
I have to admit that, although I was a huge, huge, huge TaleSpin fan, and less of a Darkwing Duck fan as a child, that's changed (for the moment, anyway). Not to say that, as a child, I wasn't a fan of DW, just to say that it, actually, came in second after TaleSpin for my fave Disney cartoon series. But, now, it's currently Public Enemy Number One, er, my favourite series, I mean.
Other than that, I'm a huge fan of languages and have been all my life (since I first discovered that English wasn't the only language in the world) - you can imagine that Don Karnage, with his accent, held a special place in my heart. I've just begun working on my second foreign language (Dutch).
Otherwise, well, I'm an artist.. not professional, or anything, but it's one of my hobbies. I should probably try and draw Don Karnage, sometime.
Moving on... I don't know what else to say about myself and I don't want this to get too long. I look forward to meeting people here and, I guess, if anyone has any questions (or just wants to get to know me!), they can just ask 'em.
Oh, yeah... to pronounce my username, just say: Feez-oh-duck. (It's just the name those funny Germans use for Negaduck.)
Oh, and I am not a pup! I'm a cheetah.

Ansem555, I could be MUCH worse (indeed, that was the short version)! Heehee! And thanks for the welcome.
Danke sehr, Wolf_Bassist!
(Translation: It's a pleasure to visit here! As you can see, my German isn't perfect. I'm trying, however, to always improve my German. Do you speak German as a native or second language? And lastly, should I rather use formal or informal forms?)

Thank you, y'all! Wolf_Bassist wrote: I'm from Michigan, USA, of course, but I am of German-speaking descent. My grandpa (from Dad's side of the family) has distant relatives in Austria. So for me, German is more of a second language. As for whether or not to use formal or informal forms: it really depends on the situation. It's been three years since my last German class, so I'd have to go back and brush up on my German. Ahhh, that's cool! You probably don't get much opportunity to use it offline then, or do you? Not many Americans who take German in highschool can really speak it, in my experiences. I know it depends on the situation, whether or not you use formal or informal. I rather meant, how would you like me to speak with you? Formally or informally? Welche soll ich mit Ihnen am bestens benutzen, 'Du' oder 'Sie'?
