Whale Wars is a popular show on the Animal Planet on the Discovery Channel while in the past I supported their activities against the Japanese Whaling Fleet after seeing a few videos in which the Sea Shepherds vessels deliberately rammed the a Japanese vessel and the now infamous Ady Gil collision the Ady Gil was at rest floating around when the Japanese ship ran into it. The fact of the matter is that both parties operate in a gray area of international law. I cannot support the whalers who kill such beautiful animals for no good reason but by the same reasoning I cannot support Paul Watson deliberately damaging his vessel and those under his command. So what do you think?

Not really caring what happens to people who butcher animals mercilessly, I'd have to say I like his methods,
but I do think he should fix it so he's not endangering his crew. Maybe if he has enough life boats, vests,
whatever to make sure everyone would be okay... but it sounds rather dangerous yet.
Then again I don't think I could think of a better solution. Could go the old fashioned angry letter, but what will that achieve?

I don't think the killings will stop no matter what method you use.
It is comforting to see people trying to do something about it anyway.
